Anyone know anything about this guy? Fillipo, you're closest geographically, I think.

Actually Tennie I am from Slovenia (neighbour of Italy on the west and north of Croatia - Fillipo), so I am closest (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) , but I never heard about this kid. Well it's not the first time that our young slovenian player plays for Milan youth selections. We had Sandro Bloudek (now he is loaned) who played very good last year for primavera and we still have Kris Bric in allievi nazionali of Milan.
But in the end it's like Porto said. We only have experienced players playing for us, so this means nothing. After he will be too old for primavera, he will be loaned and if he won't be anything special, he will be forgotten.

Oh! Sorry about that, Diavolo! I hadn't realized where you were from. My bad!

And...well, a Primavera signing is a Primavera signing.

Now if only they'd sign a good striker for the first team....

Don't worry (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) . It's not like you missed that Porty is from Portugal or dst from Greece and so on. I'm not posting enough to be well-known (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) .
And yes we should worry about our signings for the first team (not that I would ever mind having Slovenian player playing for Milan first team (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ).

Milan Sign Young Slovenian Striker

The Rossoneri have officially signed a 16-year-old striker from Slovenia who played for NK Nafta in the past season.

The Milan fans have all been waiting for the news when Milan will finally announce the name of the new striker to strengthen the forward line of the European Champions.

Will it be Eto`o'? Or Shevchenko? Or maybe Ronaldinho? Well for the time being the Rossoneri supporters will have to be happy with Mitja Novinic, a very young hot prospect of Slovenia who is considered as the new best thing in his country.

Milan announced the signing on Thursday evening as they deposited the contract of their new player at the offices of the Lega Calcio.

This is the second signing for the Rossoneri during this transfer market, with the first one being that of Ibrahim Ba who therefore made a return to the club after a few years absence.

Who said we aren't active on the transfer market? We signed two players already (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Well, as Diavolo said, he is the closest to this youngster,...

All I heard about him was a few months earlier in one of our newspapers, when they made a summary of all young talents in Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Hungary. He was once linked with Hajduk, our second best team, but I suppose it was only a imaginary thing.

Well, if he turns half of the player Boban or Savičević were, I`d be very proud,.. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

Imagine my pride (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) . After Croatian and Montenegro genious it would be very nice to see some Slovenian genious, but our players in generaly aren't so talented (hope this one is) as players from other countries of our ex republic (Croatia and Serbia produce almost every year some very talented players, but we are smaller so our talents are more rare).

Srečko was one of them, then came Zahovič, well... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

You are right Fillipo, but as I said our players in generaly aren't so talented and our talents are more rare than in you country (but I didn't say we had no great players in the past) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) . As you said Srečko Katanec and recently Zlatko Zahovič. Before that it was Branko Oblak (Bayern), Popivoda, AmerÅ¡ek, Elsner...

I just hope that sometime in the future we produce a player that will deserve to wear Ac Milan shirt and play an important role in the team (like Boban did, Å imič also).

Maybe Handanovič (23 years), very talented and young goalkepper who is playing in Italy for the past three years. He' s owned by Udinese where he was 2nd kepper in his first season, then he was loaned to Treviso and also to Lazio, but this year he was one of the best players of Rimini in Serie B (amazing game against Juve - highest vote of all players in Gazzetta dello sport). He was beeing linked with Torino before Sereni came and with Parma, but now that De Santis is gone, he might even stay with Udinese. Maybe he will be a good solution for Milan in a couple of years. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif) Will see what happens. I would sure be happy.
By the way another of our young players was signed by Fiorentina (Tim Matavž - 18 years, stiker).
