Well i couldn't find a Allegri page to post this on but here it is

QUOTE
Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri admits that he’d like to move abroad when he does eventually leave the Rossoneri.

Although he says that he is happy with life at Milanello, he accepts that he won’t be able to spend his entire career with the Diavolo.

“It’s important for me to stay in Milan for a long time, but I know that it’s impossible to stay here forever,” noted the former Cagliari boss.

“After managing Milan, most clubs would be a step down in anyone’s career.

“However, I've been learning English for a year now. After Milan I want to work abroad. England would be my first choice, then Spain.

“For me it is important before getting to the end of my career to have experiences in different countries.”

Allegri, a former midfielder during his playing days, arrived at Milan in the summer of 2010 to replace Leonardo.

The 44-year-old won the Scudetto at his first attempt with the club and the outfit are currently four points clear at the top of the table with 11 games to go.

I'm really undecided about this...

I'm really undecided about this...

I think he's talking way in the future when he's done all he can at Milan.

He's still got a lot of work to do to be able to demand such huge jobs at the likes of Real, Chelsea, etc.

If he manages to win a CL with us though, the sky's the limit for him as he has a great domestic record with us

i just wish i knew the context/intent of the interview because this may send the wrong message. Certainly we can no longer compete with the Man Utds and Barcas of world football but i always assumed the gap was more of a non-spoken admittance. I mean, it is only natural for players and coaches to aspire to higher competition, but considering Max's personality and where we are in all competitions as it stands, i really think this is either a sample of a much broader interview, out of context or perhaps a mistranslation...

I'm not trying to spark debate over it or anything, as I'm probably as big a fan of Allegri as MF can produce, but nonetheless, this seems just really offbeat.

I think it was a much broader interview. It always is.

As for the gap. There's no doubt that there's a huge gap between Barca/Real and the rest of the clubs in Europe, and it does not apply to us. Man U are nowhere near the level of Barca and Real. Their season so far has been very mediocre by their standards. Sure they're finally at the top of the EPL, but last season's CL final really showed how much quality they lack when it comes down to it.

They are still a much stronger side then us... I mean head to head, we can beat them. but There B team can still light up our first team... I don't know maybe i just don't have faith in us vs EPL teams anymore but they are truly a much richer league...

Their B team really?

Who would that be? The dynamic duo Fabio an Rafael? Smalling? Carrick? Park? Evans? Jones?

They have a fairly mediocre team compared to recent years, and it's been shown clearly throughout the entire season.

None of those mentioned would get anywhere near our starting 11. Then they have guys like Nani, Vidic, Giggs, Scholes, etc, etc. All players they still rely heavily on yet all of them have their problems. I mean has Vidic played a run of games this season?

The only truely top class players they have are Rooney, Young, Evra, who else? I'm coming up short.

Ok well, i may be exaggerating, but still...they have an overall better squad...

I don't think they do. Maybe in some areas like the LB position. And they do have Rooney, who imo is in the top 5 strikers in the World, but other than that, I really wouldn't want anyone from their team for ours
