i'm hoping the same thing happens here.

if there was any club in the world that could keep egos in check, it would be milan

I'm not entirely ready to jump on the rainbows-and-lollipops bandwagon just yet. Still think the personalities involved may lead to trouble sooner rather than later. Am going to take a wait and see attitude.

True, there is no reason to. Not until they gel together and perform. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) And then there is the issue of egos, how well we as a team manage it all. But having said that, everyone should at least agree that the squad is an improvement from the last season, and no more 0-4 scores against big teams. We can compete, and the team is complete:

Though having said that, G Rossi too would have been a great signing. Maybe for the future, fingers crossed

Milan is a world-class club with world-class players attitude and world-class fans so much that the personalities of the players matter much more than their talents.

I don't think the squad's complete, acid. Sorry. We still don't really have a competent RB.

Right on. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) And along with the egos, I hope Mr. B does not insist on his stupid tactics of playing all four in the same formation (Ronaldinho, Ibra, Pato, and Robinho). To do that we will have to sacrifice Pirlo completely, and I am not sure or DMs like Ambro and Flamini are capable enough to take control of the midfield against big teams.

At most three of the four should play (unless in special cases towards the last 10 minutes when pushing for a win). But I'll cut Berlusconi some slack today. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) If ever there was a time he earned partying with 18-year-old-girls it is now:

Yeah, that's one area where we lack. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) But then again it's a bit relative, as from where I see the need for a competent RB stems from the need of an attacking option. Defense wise I guess both Bonera and Zambro can stand their own. They will do fine playing hold up. Marauding runs from the right side are just not on, unfortunately.

But agreed, this is one area that needs attention, I expect another signing at least in January. A full back and hopefully another mid. Let's wait and see how it all pans out see.

So, our signing campaign looks something like this:

IN

Amelia
Yepes
Sokratis
Montelongo
Boateng
Robinho
Ibrahimovic

OUT

Dida
Storari
Favalli
Kaladze
Beckham
Mancini
Adiyiah
Borriello
Huntelaar

I would have loved if we got rid of Onyewu, Oddo and Janku as well, but you can't have it all. Good job B&G, you deserve a big kudos! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/king.gif)

Oddo and Janku out without replacements would be fatal. Right now we know the worst they can do and the best. The good news is unlike previous seasons, our attack is good enough to compensate for any goof ups from them. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Blue...roll out the expense sheet brother!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smoke.gif) I wanna see me some profit!!!

EDIT: IT just struck me...the pressure on Max Allegri just got 10x worse. For once I'm glad we didn't get rid of Rino. We're gonna need him and Max to keep the boys in line. Oh..why couldn't we have done this when Carlo was around. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) On the other hand, I hope 5 years from now, I can say how Carlo was 'almost as good as' Allegri.

As much as I advocated the alternative, keeping Rino might have been a good idea. Jack, you bring up a good point, he can help keep attitudes in check.

I think the only negative side of this signing campaign was the lack of signing of a fullback (why didn't we snap Rafinha from Genoa as well? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) ). Other than that, we're good to go in every other area of the pitch.

Edit: Oh wait, we got Montelongo, but I doubt he's that good.
