dst is right, Maldini is only saying that because he knows there is no chance for the Serie A, even if he might want to win the league more than the CWC.

Yes it is a trophy that I would like for us to win, but the fact now that they are making it as an excuse for our poor league form is BS.

It's like when last season they were sayning that it was celtic's first appearance in the last 16 of the CL, when in reality they have won the competition in the past. Just because they change the format and the name of the competition that doesn't devalue the ones that were won under the previous format. Just like we don't count 3 CL titles and the badge on the player's arms says 7 not 3

Our management hyping it, won't change that. CWC and supercup are minor trophies that you don't really count at the end of the season (unless you want to make something look better. Be sure Galliani will be mentioning them a lot if we won't win the CL)
