Saying he's doing great is very funny.

Seriously guys, he's nowhere near great. Come on!!

And apparently it's me who overrated players by calling Cerci "good". (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Yeah, still not scored 20 league goals in a season, despite playing in a 2nd rate league, like mediocre Matri, what a failer.

That's a very good run but in my book it's not even close to reward him with the 'great' tag.

Matri is at the end of his rope, Aubameyang still has more than enough time to accomplish that and he's looking well on his way to doing so in one of the best and most competitive leagues out there.

If Aub. is a great player, the world has more great players than any other kind of players.

I never said he's a great player, I've never even seen him play. I only said he's doing great with Dortmund thus far, which is true.

Matri did it when he was 26 and Pierre is already 24 and hasn't done it. Matri did it at Cagliari and a 7th placed Juve, not a dominant team, also.

Not saying Matri's great, just that this is another case of you massively overrating a player. Do you think Giroud is great too? Remy?

They are two different players with different characteristics. It is very easy to get drawn into an argument over who is better, but truth be told they are both 'good' players, nothing special to get winded-up on. Kurt is basing his theory on statistics, which speaks volumes with regards to Matri. While Pierre's stint in France shouldn't be highlighted all that much, as the overall quality of the French league is not on par with Serie A for example. Hence, much easier to shine over in France.

Now if the player can prove his merit in Germany, that is another thing altogether. But as of yet, it is his first season there.
