Him and Lapadula. My big hopes for the season. One of them has to flop of course. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I think Sosa is the best technical player we've signed, and I think he'll be an important add this season.

Honestly, I have no disillusions about either Lapadula or Pasalic, hopefully both can make good contribution though

Pasalic scored a worldly goal in training. Don't know if you guys saw it. Quite Zlatanesque, high cross into the box, and he did a taekwondo scissor kick with both feet off the ground and scored. Then got up and walked off.

I can't believe a Chelsea reject is impressing me.

What is said is that is loan with no option to buy. Though, we will see. A goal in training is barely an indicator.

It's a loan with first refusal. So if Chelsea do decide to sell Pasalic, we get to decide if we want to buy him at the price they're saying before anyone else.

All mentioned players are IMO big question marks. Hopefully some of them turn out good/useful. But my hopes are mostly on Pašalić. Sosa failed for most of his career, and Lapadula is (IMO) too old to be any good.

You never know. Sometimes strikers like Lapadula take some time before exploding big. Think of Milito or Toni for instances.

Ah, indeed. Hopefully it's a new Toni then.

It was more Toni Soprano than Luca Toni alas.

I never liked him - there's a weird myth about him being hard working - tbh, he isn't. He just seems to give off that vibe because he's so rank average. Truth is he hardly ran, never pressed, and was rarely seen to make runs into the box.

Bacca is lazy too, no denying that, but even he tried/tries harder.
