Stampa inglese: Tevez interessa al Milan
11/5/2007 - 17:31

Yup. I read it some hours ago but I think he's staying in England TBH.

Though he's good... really good. If he performs what he knows... he can be a legend on a top club.

My guess: he is going to Spain. The league over there is more suited for him

Posted by: kurtsimonw May 11 2007, 08:27 PM

Tevez in a Milan shirt?

Someone pinch me or tell me it's April Fools Day.

Nothing as ridiculous as this could ever happen.. surely?

Posted by: mchanna May 11 2007, 08:41 PM

that would be really cool
I think he would suit Milan.

Would really be a VERY GOOD transfer. He is also young and Milan can help him become a better player and a better human being.

He'd look too out of place, I'm not gay or anything, but alot of our players are too good looking to be in the same team as him. tongue.gif

Bit of info about Carlitos:

QUOTE

He is currently regarded as one of the most promising prospects to come out of Argentina. Like Argentine teammate Lionel Messi, he has been labelled as the "new Diego Maradona". Maradona himself once described him as the "Argentinian prophet for the 21st century".

Tévez has a distinctive scar from the right ear, down his neck to his chest. This occurred when he was ten months old while he was exploring the terrain of his mother’s kitchen floor he inadvertently pulled a kettle of boiling water over himself. This caused third-degree burns to the right side of his face, neck and chest and left him in intensive care for almost two months. Today the scars are a visible signature of Tévez, who refused an offer from his Boca Juniors to have them cosmetically improved, saying that the scars were a part of who he was in the past and who he is today.

Wiki.

I think putting him and Messi in the same sentence is laughable.

You, EPL and English fans, don't know who's Tevez for sure.
Maybe next season in a Chelsea/Liverpool/United/Juventus/Milan/Inter/Barcelona top-side... you'll change your opinion.

Put Messi in West Ham and you'll see what difference does he make and his impact in EPL. rolleyes.gif

He proved himself in Boca and Corinthians - 2 top South-American clubs. He needs a oportunity like that in Europe.
For example: he's no way under Rooney if he plays what he knows for a top team. And I saw many matches of him, believe me.

Maybe in 1-2 years you'll say "That guy is something. I wish he...". rolleyes.gif Mark my words.

I see what you're saying.

But it's much easier to look good in a poor team. Messi is surrounded by R10, Eto'o, Deco, Xavi and others, and still looks great.

Tevez is in the company of Harewood, Zamora, Reo-Coker and others, and is still not performing at his best.

I'm not saying Tevez is a bad player, because he's clearly not, I'd certainly welcome him to the Villa. I just don't think he has anything on Messi.

I do watch alot of South American football so I do know how Tevez can be, he has been a star from a very young age. Messi is just something else.

Messi is a RW/#10/LW... Tevez is a SS. Nothing to do... basically the article just wants to say that Messi along with Tevez and some others are a part of the new-top-talented generation from Argentina.

Tevez is heading for a £30million move to Real Madrid.

But West Ham will not see a penny of any fee for the striker whose goal kept them in the Premiership.

The Hammers tore up their agreement with Tevez’s owner Kia Joorabchian so the South American star could play in their last three games of the season.

Yet having signed off with Sunday’s crucial 1-0 winner at Manchester United, he has now returned to Argentina and is back in the hands of the company Joorabchian represents.

Joorabchian refused to comment on the on-going row in which the so-called ‘gang of four’ are still pressing to have West Ham relegated for alleged irregularities in Tevez’s capture.

He also claims no decision has been made about the player’s future. But Real Madrid are leading the chase, with AC Milan and Seville on alert.

A £30m price tag makes it virtually impossible that the Hammers could end up signing him.

SunSport can reveal Tevez turned down the chance to quit West Ham in the January transfer window. Joorabchian said: “He told me it was his mission to keep West Ham in the Premiership and he had to stay to see it through.”

Hammers boss Alan Curbishley hopes survival has finally won him the backing of the club’s fans. He revealed: “There was a time when they were telling me ‘F*** off back to Charlton’.”

Ex-manager Alan Pardew, relegated with Charlton, sent a letter of support before the Old Trafford win. Chairman Eggert Magnusson was thrown in the showers during the victory celebrations.

I would love to see us go after Tevez, but sadly I haven't heard any concrete proof that we are even remotely interested in him.

Galliani and Co. are probably too caught up in the idea of bringing Sheva back, which imo would be a big mistake. Reunions have never worked for us before (Gullit, Cappello, Sacchi), so we should let Sheva go, he is part of our past and should remain that way.

Tevez could be a big part of our future if we brought him over

Posted by: dst May 15 2007, 03:28 PM

^^
I don't think Milan are really interested in brining Sheva back. Neither is Sheva himself interested and Chelsea (Abramovic).

I would like to see Tevez in Milan but there's another Argentinian I want more and he is Gago! wub.gif

That was mainly me, and I was pointing mainly to Higuan rather then Gago, although I've only seen Gago play a good game just once.

Imo not enough to merit him all the hype he earned before he joined madrid

Wait .. hold on a second. Sheva doesnt have a Euro passport and neither does Ronaldinho and Olivier. So Oli took Sheva's spot and this year there is only room for one more. Shevchenko should just be the smoke covering this mega transfer, or else we r fu cked (royaly) .. Wow, Abramovic would really impress me if he lets go of Sheva this summer, it would be a sign to his players that he doesn't have a favorite .. The favorite is the one knows what he is doing on the field.

Gago and Higuain have obviously done something right, looks like they may have helped them to their 30th league title.

And how important is Higuain's 90th minute winner against Espanyol going to prove to be!

Yeah Galliani says many things, but when Silvio and Maldini and Kaka, etc say the same thing .. I guess they are the ones with the insider info wink.gif

I didn't mean to make it look like he is 100% coming, but there is a huge possibility of it happening ..

Family or no family, I think Shevchenko threw all that away when he left.

Posted by: dst May 16 2007, 06:26 PM

Galliani talked about it first. After that, you know how it goes, the media ran rampant...

I meant Shevchenko will possibly not leave London cause he can't move out twice in a year (because of HIS family not the Milan one). At least, I would be surprised if he did...

U would be surprised ?! I would have so many questions to ask !!! Mainly, did he flunk out of his english lesson courses rolleyes.gif

He isn't the same Shevchenko (..not judging from his performance at Chelsea), he is older and has been in a decline ever since he won the CL in 03. I wouldn't expect anything from him even if he was to come back.

A year after that CL win we won the league and Sheva got the Golden ball. Is that a decline? rolleyes.gif And a year after when we reached the final he was good too (CL best scorer). His last season with Milan was o.k but not terrific so you may say decline started there but not 4 seasons ago.

He is only 30 (younger than many our players). Isn't you the one who always pro older and experience players?

Posted by: kurtsimonw May 16 2007, 07:37 PM

From what I see/hear I can't see him staying in England much longer, I think he is really struggling with the language.

Every week he gets interviewed on Match of the Day, he starts talking in English and you can tell he really doesn't know an awful lot. He usually finishes the interview in Italian.

If he can't nail the language down, he won't be happy here, ther'll be no-one to talk to other than a few team-mates.. possibly.

He will be 31 IF and that's a big if he comes.

I think his declining stage started after istanbul, meaning last season. We all saw that he wasn't the same Sheva, especially during the closing stages of the season when he kept getting injured and was having problems with Carlo

I don't think he's leaving anytime soon. He's just had another kid. Packing up and moving your family all over again is not something that you can keep doing every couple of months.

Yes, I have heard that English is one of the harder languages to learn.

I think it would be best for him if he was not to come back. I haven't myself, but alot of fans have turned on him after the way he left. Those that still love the guy will also lose alot they love about him if he came back and has a disasterous few years.

Would be similar to Fowler at Liverpool (Only he didn't leave on bad terms). Was nicknamed 'God' for all his work, went back and was awful, now they're getting rid of him. Sheva shouldn't make the same mistake.

Well when you're 30 years old, learning a completely new language is very hard, as opposed to when you're a child.

People who grow up in English speaking countries or are thought English at an early age think it's an easy language, but for people who have no clue about it will find it very hard to learn.

As to the other thing you entioned, I completely agree with you. I think Sheva should remain as he is, a great part of our past.
