Hi all,
Below is a letter I've drafted on behalf of milanfan.com to the club. Mike has reviewed it and has given me the okay to send it.
Please note that I drafted it before Saturday-- when the Curva did cheer and when there were...disagreements...here on the website -- but I think the letter expresses something worthwhile and that it's still worth sending.
If anyone has suggestions for edits or changes, please either respond or send me a PM. I'll be sending the letter off in a day or two.

Dr. Galliani,
(Mi spiace che devo scrivere in inglese; puo parlare e leggere italiano, ma e per me difficile scrivere in italiano. Mio nonno e calabrese e ho imparato italiano a casa, non alla scuola.)
I am writing on behalf of the members of milanfan.com. Milanfan is a website dedicated to AC Milan and its thousands of members come from six continents. We are a diverse group of individuals who are united in our passionate support of the team. I know of few other places where, for example, people from Israel, Kuwait, Nigeria, Venezuela, Malaysia, Malta, Croatia, Canada, Greece, Australia, the United Kingdom, Portugal, the United States, and many other countries come together in common cause. Geography, politics, culture and language may divide us, but Milan unites us.
We were all saddened and dismayed to read the news reports in the past few days about the lack of support for the team among the tifosi in the San Siro. It isn’t right that the fans go to games and refuse to support the team; if they don't like the Amati decree, then they should protest to the /government/, not at the games. The players deserve better.
Please, please let the players and staff know that even if the tifosi in Milan are silent, there ARE thousands – if not many, many more – of fans all over the world who are supporting the team every game, whether Milan win or lose, no matter what. Only a handful of us have ever been to a Milan game, as we are located all over the world. I know that if we could, we would all be there at the San Siro, cheering our hearts out.
Forza Milan!
