Derby time!

I'm partially hopeful, although I don't think we'll get a win. But a draw will be fine here imo. Not saying we should play for it but in the long run it will be a better result for us than for Inter

Well, we haven't really had much luck in this fixture in the last few years, while Inter are seemingly riding on some luck right now themselves, having not played that well but still having won 6 games in a row now.

Our defense atm is suspect at best, so we know we'll concede at least 1 goal, it's just a matter of if we can outscore them

Well, for the goal. Yes, we lost concentration. But, no that was not the main problem. The main problem was how we approached the game. We were just playing for a draw, and we didn't get in to control the game. We had so many chances on the counter, and wasted them all.

Dissapointed.

the only good thing that was to be was our first clean sheet which didnt happen in the end and sums game tonight. All subs were pointless, and i didnt understand if curtone was to be played on the wing then we should have bought castileejo on

And it's not like Inter were that good, we just allowed them to play and just didn't want to go for it. Terrible overall approach. The sucker punch at the end is what you get for playing like cowards

It’s not a wasted season yet. I mean, let’s face it, with these players and coach the max we can achieve is 4th place, and that’s a race between us, Roma and Lazio. That’s totally achievable. Hopefully with the return of Caldara and Conti, and the signing of Paqueta we’ll be able to fill some gaps.

But without that 4th spot it wouldn’t be a wasted season, it would be a disaster.

If we maintain this rate of progress, we won't be back in years to come. I'm not talking about objectives here, sure we might get lucky and grab onto that 4th spot. But overall we're far from showing positive signs. We have a rookie coach who's doing something right and something wrong, we have a team that needs at least 40% of the roster changed - and that after 2 seasons of rebuilding. I'm aware of the context (Elliot and all that) but anyway, we should be picking up pace. Appointing a coach who's already won something and has experience would be a right step forward for christ sake.
