for me we dint make any bad transfers, it's more a matter of us making the wrong transfers. like the purchase of a WC CB or a natural rb to backup zambro was way more important than bringing back sheva.

Spot on. The players we brought in were all good, but we failed to reinforce to "broken" areas

sheva. He just wasn't needed in my opinion. There were much better options available but its silvio so what can you do. Senderos cannot be judged yet because serie A and EPL are two different leagues with totally different defending styles and mentalities. WE'll see in time if he was a mistake or not.

I don't even see anything wrong with any of the transfers. Some were certainly better than others... with numerous top ranking signings... There was one more defender I would have wanted instead of Sheva, but I'm fine with Sheva. He's on loan (according to Lega-Calcio official website). Chelsea will probably loan him to us and we'll pay part of his wage... and keep him on loan until his contract with them expires (like Crespo).

Senderos will be capable in adapting to the slower pace of the Serie A. I think he's the appropriate player. He has height and aerial power. He'll certainly be better than Kaladze (that is if Kaladze does not improve... I always defend the guy, but at this point he's in poor form).

Anyways, I view this transfer season as close to perfect. I would have wanted another defender (Thiago Silva instead of Shevchenko) but I'm fine with what we have. We at least fixed any shortage of attack options. I remember dreading the fact we lacked attacking options the previous season.

Cedric Seedorf hands down. He won't even play Coppa Italia. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Actually you're right... I didn't remember that one transfer... you know it is to keep Clarence happy... if he's pissed more than usual it'll cause problems...

Or since we can't break 'salary cap'. So the rest of Clarence's salary goes into little brother's bank account.

For what it's worth, he won't even play. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) I'd be really surprised if it ever came to Coppa matches and Friendlies.

^^

Oh they're for when we sell Kaka and Pirlo next season. 110MM for Kaka (Man City/Chelsea) and 45MM for Pirlo (Barca). Smart market move. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

Apart from Seedorf. Senderos, don't see how he can make our defence any better, he's on a par with the defensive capabilities of Pascal Cygan. So error prone it's unreal, how he's found his way to Milan I don't know.

We needed a CB, in our desperation we turned to someone who we never understood. We already have an error prone Kaladze, we dont need another error prone DF
