MILAN - Carlo Ancelotti analysed the team's performance against Lazio: 'We are at the norm. The team didn't play great football, but at least we are not adrift as was the forecast up until now. In certain ways we grew in Genoa and again today, we will go ahead like this. Even last year, we began in the same manner, then we put things back in the right direction. I do not understand the pessimism, which creates tension and doesn't allow improvement. Luckily, we have a club that looks at what is happening along with facts in an objective way. What is missing? In this game were able to break the deadlock quickly. We created a lot of opportunites, but we worked hard to maintain the advantage and the attitude. There should be more balance, but today was better. We conceded little and regained stability in the defense. It is a matter of staying focused, especially at deadball situations and headers. We have tall defenders and strikers. We must pay attention to those situations. Vieri? With him and Gilardino we have more weight in attack, we are quicker coming forward after winning the ball, we create more opportunities. They are two players with traits that help a lot, they are good at passing the holding the ball up in the box and find the free man in front of the defence. Today Vieri, even if he did not score, made two beautiful moves for both the first and second goals.'
