QUOTE (han2503 @ Jul 16 2012, 12:07 PM) *
Wow, people are making Canada seem like some 3rd world country (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

And maybe Nesta was thinking about it in geographical terms, Canada technically speaking is in America - the continent. He didn't mention the US specifically (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

And like acid said, people seem to generalise the US too much, it's either New York or California and nothing in between. Nesta could have easily ended up playing for the Utah or Pennsylvania teams (no idea what they call them or if they're even in the MLS, just making a point)

There is a pretty big and awesome city in between NY and Cali. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/king.gif)
Not much else in the middle though worth seeing though unless you like driving by farms for hours on end.

The Pennsylvania team is in Philadelphia, which is a ~big city, but Utah (Real Salt Lake)...that's a strange place. Good for skiing though, I bet.

Anyways, I'm excited to see that Montreal has not played in Chicago yet this season, so I may get a shot at seeing Nesta in competitive action (saw him play in the friendly here couple of years ago).

I just remembered Villa play in Chicago next weekend. I apologise in advance for all the diseases we'll bring in from Philadelphia.

I was thinking more along the lines of Amish towns in Pennsylvania rather than the big City that the Fresh Prince hails from (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

It's so unfamiliar it looks like a fake...just like seeing a picture of Ichiro in a Yankees jersey yesterday.

I guess Allegri did not know we're gonna lose Silva, but anyway, should have done more to keep him. He'd be a great leader in this team we have.

Agreed.

Now we have no one with true class in this team. The midfield and defence are especially dire

Is that Marco Di Vaio!? He's been doing really well lately, strange for him to move there even if he is old now.
