AC Milan - Milanfan.com _ Football Discussion _ Formal *who are you supporting* thread

Posted by: Danny Jun 3 2010, 10:57 PM

At the world cup that is.

Seemed the most appropriate place to put such a thread and a poll with 32 options wasn't really viable.

I will be supporting Spain and probably the USA.

Posted by: servbot Jun 3 2010, 11:09 PM

USA and Italy.

After them, it will be matchup based, I guess.

Posted by: Fishdoll Jun 3 2010, 11:10 PM

Italy, Germany, Slovenia (in that order)

Posted by: mishie Jun 3 2010, 11:12 PM

Algeria will lose every game by forefeit for too many red cards I think. Watching them play you'd think they just hired 11 thugs off the street, it's shocking.

One of those thugs off the street is a Rangers player I'll have you know. One I'm admittedly not very fond of mind you.

Anyway, I now know a little better who got my sympathy: Germany, Italy, Portugal, Japan... (I also like underdogs often)... though Italy not as much as sympathy as previous World Cup... Lippi kinda ruining it for me

And I support David Villa for being topscorer (€€€)...

I forgot to mention one country. I also support South Korea I noticed during this World Cup.

Germany, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Portugal... kinda like that

Posted by: Fishdoll Jun 24 2010, 09:21 PM

I am finding myself rather liking Uruguay and Chile this year. They're both entertaining teams.
