Thought i'd start his thread since i could not find one here.

I like Poli hes a player that is more then likely going to to the 2014 wc for italy if only for a back up spot atm.

Poli: 'Milan glory days are gone'
By Football Italia staff

Andrea Poli freely admits “none” of the current Milan squad would’ve started during the glory days.

Rossoneri fans are increasingly frustrated and their downturn in fortunes and criticised the club for selling top stars like Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva.

“I know that I have arrived in a transition period, as none of us would have started in the Grande Milan side,” Poli told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“However, we can open up a good new era. There is a magical air at Milanello and I really want to win.

“I like to take responsibility, so I hope to wear this jersey for many years and my ambition is to play an important part at this club.”

Poor boy. Having someone like Muntari take your spot must be demoralising. I would have slit my wrists if I was in his place by now.

Oops, forgot Poli. I guess that's a fair reflection of the state of affairs with him. Usually runs around aimlessly on the pitch without much effect

Him and Cigarini were upcoming stars in Serie A not too long ago. Funny how things end up. Serie A youth really went to crap in the first decade of the 2000s.

Moved, Official Bologna player.

Good luck Poli, always a great servant for the club just didn't live up to what he showed when we initially got him

Small club player. Honourable pro, gave everything, but was not mentally big enough for a club our size. Like other sentiments, good luck to him.
