9/23/2005 12:01:00 PM The season is really coming alive now. There is no let-up in the games and three days after facing Lazio, Milan are off to Padova to play newly-promoted Treviso. After finishing fifth in Serie B last year, the team from the Veneto region surprisingly found themselves in the top-flight due to irregularities amongst clubs that finished above them. They have spent all summer building a side, with the Filippini twins bringing experience in midfield while upfront Pinga has come in from Torino where in 2000 the youngster had a goal disallowed in a 2-2 draw with Milan. The Brazilian will be partnered by Dino Fava who scored for Udinese in Carlo Ancelotti’s side’s only home defeat when the Rossoneri lifted their 17th league title. Paolo Maldini and co. will not be underestimating the opposition but will be well aware that a victory will continue their climb up the table. As chief executive Adriano Galliani stated after the Lazio game: 'We are convinced we can move up the table, looking at the fixture list, we have a great side that has to get up there thanks to the strength we possess.'
