Ok. Sheva has decided. Now its to us to make the negotiatons as much successufull as we can (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) (why does nobody mention that in teory the negotiations can fail..?). There are some players who really are interesting. Honestly, although Lampard would be ideal for Milans defensive and offensive midfield I think he is not a realistic target. To bring Gallas is one imperative. And the 30, 40 or even 50 m. And maybe another player (who would then reduce the fee for Chelsea)...Crespo? Could be good, but a bit old and very near to the type of striker we have in Pippo and Gila. Maybe Drogba would be better, he wants to leave. And what about Essien? I think he is the perfect pick (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) !?

No not Essien thank you...
and guys please stop saying that about Gila..he can play like Sheva (pick the ball from the midfield and go upfront,...) he did it perfectly in Parma when needed and he can still do it if we put him in that position!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope you are right. Indeed I remember him from Parma and must say he is not the Gila from last season at Milan. I can only explain this fact by telling that he is young and has time. Italian strikers often lighten up after their 26th...But it should not be a rule, I mean what is good for Parma, is not necessarily good for Milan (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

No not Essien, definetely not.

I would say Ibrahimovic would be my first realistic choice to be brung in upfront, if not then Torres or Tevez.

Yes but Parma ain't got no Sheva (we don't too ...) or Pippo...It's difficult for a new player in such a team and don't forget the criticism Milan received this season..most of it falls on the backs of the new ones (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

The best substitute for Sheva at the moment is probably Ibrahimovic ... he has the skills and would play well with Kaka and Gilardino/Inzaghi ... and above all he is young (24) ... if we get Ibra, we would have 3 young forwards who are all the same age... That's a great investment for the next 7-8 years (unless somone else's wife or girlfriend enjoys shopping in London with a Russian Billionare's wife) Milan needs to invest more in young talent like they did with Kaka'... they were the oldest team in the Champions League last year (probably b/c of Costacurta at 40) ... the only negative about Ibrahimovic is his character... we've seen him act up with Juve so he'd have to change that to be an even greater player, like Sheva... i just hope his girlfriend/wife would enjoy Milano... and the upside to Shevchenko's departure is the age factor... Sheva is turning 30 in a couple of months - his value will go down and a bad injury could risk his career.. I was very sad that he left but now we have to think about the future of this club... go to the young, preferably Italian talent

He is nothing compared to Sheva IMO... Just take a look at his scoring record and then take a look at Sheva's... I think Del Piero is much better than Ibra..... He was Ibra's sub last season and not only did he score more goals than Ibra, he played beautifully as well!

delpiero might hav played better( but i think ibra played better last season), but he is old. i think his age is now 32. we need young talented guys, n ibra is certainly one of them. he can replace sheva in milan. like Milanista NY said, his disadvantage is his character. i hope he will change that if he comes to milan

Sheva 's replacemant must be Niko Kranjcar(Dinamo Zagreb) or Ebi Smolorek(Borussia Dortmund) or Nicolai Dica(Steaua Bucharest)
or even Andrey Voronin

so the fact that he scored 6 goals this season and virtually he's shown nothing in Italy isn't negative???Welcome man but I'm afraid I'll have to disagree with your first post (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Yes Gulliver it's true, learn to like it (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ...I mean he's failed in Italy whether you can accept it or not!!!!He's probably a very good striker but in Italy you have to be more than that... He is more then what you think of him I'm pretty sure (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
He failed this season, he'll do good in the next one, and the other year, and so on... Luck, nothing more to explain

Remember he is still young. Sheva cam to Milan 7 years ago and he also had his bad periods.
Let's be patient man. He'll prove himself, believe me!
