This deal was done by April/May... it's not new.

He wanted Real. Real wanted him... 28M-euros is the price.

Real is finally buying the players they need.

At the moment they have a better squad than us.

Midfielder... is almost = on quality IMO (it's different, but in the end I think it's almost equal), defensive probably they're better with Cannavaro... and we, we GOT Favalli! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) And in the attack we can't even compare...

But hey, I'm talking about Madrid, when I can talk about the squad of Barcelona, Chelsea or even Inter, that AT THE MOMENT are better than the Milan one. It was only an example.

c'mon now ... Real has a better defence??? Their defence is as bad as ours and Cannavaro will have a mediocre (club) season just like last year. And this time he'll be given yellow cards too (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) . "The Puma" likewise.

and midfield??? well if we should be proud of something right now it's our midfield, it's definetely the best in Europe!!!

Don't just look at the names.Inter always bought big names/great players and they always flop.

We've seen time and time again that having a squad with the best players guarantees you nothing. I think we've got a great group of players who have the determination to bring home some silverware this season.

I just compared the players. Simple as that.

Defense? Cicinho >>>>>> Cafu >>>>>>> Bonera
R.Carlos >>>>>>>Serginho>>>>>>Favalli

Cannavaro = Nesta (Cannavaro had a better WC, but Nesta is Nesta (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) )
The others are almost =... Sergio Ramos is a good defender IMO. But he's still young.

WE NEED GALLAS!

For me Cicinho is the best RB in the world without a doubt. Oh, you prefer 30 yo Oddo or 90 yo Cafu. I got it. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

if it's just about age then my local team has a great 16 year old RB ... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
Ofcourse I prefer Oddo over Cicinho. The guy can defend and he can do it great as well!!!!

I agree that Cincinho is pretty amazing. He's young and is effective on the right.

I followed Madrid last season and he really brought something special to their game.

Too bad Milan couldn't have been aggressive in the January transfer market for him.

In Madrid the problem that they've had over the past couple years is having several coaches that haven't measured up. Capello will turn it around and they have so many choices now tactically.

TBH, age for a defender isn't the case; as Serginho has proved to us on many occasions. Nobody is perfect, so you could see faults from both Cafu and Serginho .. But to say that Cicinho is better than Cafu, is an overstatement. Cafu has enough experience to go into any match and bring in a stable & solid performance. I like Cicinho, but defensively, he isn't up for it (which is what Milan need).

Going back to the topic :

Diarra wasn't what we needed. Simply because we have Pirlo and Gattuso, and I dont think any of us want to see them benched for anyone else
