I just think players who are above 6 ft and have a good physical presence will always suceed in serie a ... dzeko has the physical presence preety similar to ibrahimovic although ibra was more skillfull and dzeko is more of a poacher and header of the ball

if we have to pay 40 mill for dzeko, I rather stick with hunter and give paloschi chance when pippo retire

if wolfsburg wants kaladze and janku, they should pay for it, and we can use the money for other else, I think Milan should play hard ball a bit to wolfsburg since they and dzeko have nothing to sell other than previous season glory

Chelsea have been strongly linked with Andrea Pirlo, the Milan playmaker, over the past few weeks; however, the Rossoneri recently confirmed that their World Cup-winning midfielder was off the market.

Despite this, there have been some rumours floating around speculating that the Blues have added a further enticement to their bid for the ex-Inter player.

Michael Essien is the man that could go the other way if the Italian giants were to agree to this deal, but according to the latest words of Adriano Galliani, this will not be taking place.

“Chelsea have raised their offer by adding Essien. Pirlo has been removed from the market, so not even this would be considered,” the vice-president of the Rossoneri stressed to Corriere dello Sport.

“The matter is now closed.”

The London-based outfit are among the early favourites to take home this season’s English Premier League title; however, they are still keen to bolster their squad in the lead-up to the new campaign starting next weekend.

how come a question mark become a coma ...???, I think corriere reporter asked Galliani about Essien-Pirlo gossip (because Chelsea never made such statement other than money + Pizzaro for Pirlo) and Galliani answered it plainly that Pirlo isnt on the market anymore

I'm so fed up with milan management

when people told them to get players with more experience, they went to the oldies

and then when people start talking about younger players, they go to the babies

AC Milan are reinforcing in defense: this is Criscito
Takes shape the new feather in Milan Leonardo. After the engagement (already happened months ago) by Thiago Silva, this is now a more important part in the defense of rossoneri: Mimmo Criscito.

As learned from calciomercato.com, Galliani has explicitly gone over and over in Sweden, where the Under 21 competing in the European category, to speak directly with the boy.

if this true, it would be great news for milan

Valencia Striker Nikola Zigic On Wolfsburg Radar - Report
The Serbian forward could be heading for the Bundesliga...
15 Jun 2009 14:48:44

According to a report in Superdeporte, Bundesliga champions Wolfsburg are closely monitoring the situation of Valencia's Serbian attacker Nikola Zigic.

The 28-year-old joined his current team from Racing Santander in the summer of 2007. However, Zigic failed to make an impact at Valencia and scored only once in 16 league appearances.

The Primera Division outfit opted to farm him out on loan to Racing Santander this term, where Zigic rediscovered his scoring boots. The Serbian international has scored 13 league goals in 19 matches.

The tall forward's excellent performances haven't gone unnoticed in the rest of Europe and Zigic is being linked with clubs such as West Ham United, Everton, Stuttgart, Hamburger SV and now also Wolfsburg.

The fresh German champions are in the market for a new striker due to the expected departure of Edin Dzeko to Serie A powerhouse AC Milan and have reportedly made Zigic their primary transfer target.

The striker's current Valencia deal is due to expire in 2012, but Zigic could be allowed to leave the club if the price is right.

Milan Sign Edin Dzeko - Report
The Rossoneri have a signature on a pre-agreement. The next step is to convince Wolfsburg...
12 Jun 2009 13:31:29

Milan target Edin Dzeko has signed for the club, but fans will have to wait as it is only a pre-agreement, according to Sky Sports Italia.

The Italian news station claims the Bosnian hitman has put pen to a pre-agreement which will give the Italians first choice. Milan now have to convince the Germans of parting company with their man.

The pre-contract is based on an eventual agreement between Milan and Wolfsburg. So far, the Bundesliga outfit have claimed their man was not for sale, but Dzeko's decision to sign for Milan is likely to put the pressure on the Germans.

According to reports, Milan will try their luck again and a meeting with Wolfsburg directors is scheduled for next week. Voices claim the Italians will raise the stakes in terms of an offer.

It suggested the German side wants €30million for their man, but the Rossoneri are only willing to stretch to €20m. The player's apparent will to join Milan is in the club's favour.

Very true.

Like I said, I'm very excited to see how Real will play next season. This could either be the start of something great or a major disaster waiting to happen. Because not only did they sign top class players but also their egos.

Im hoping that kaka will comeback to milan (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

yesterday when they officially signed kaka, I'm afraid of Madrid resurrection, but when the news about CR surfaced, Im bit relax, bcoz, it would be difficult for Madrid to make everything work with new coach, new team, and ego (CR ego, Kaka halfhearted)

Cassano invites Milan contact Wednesday 10 June, 2009

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Antonio Cassano’s agent has sensationally opened the door for a move to Milan. “Maybe we can say something in the next few days.”

Beppe Bozzo was alerted to the fact a survey found most Rossoneri supporters want Cassano to replace Real Madrid’s new buy Kaka.

“I saw those surveys, but it is up to the Milan directors to make the first move,” said the representative.

“Naturally certain displays of affection are pleasing, but this is not the time to make official statements. Maybe we can say something in the next few days.

“For the moment we are awaiting news, satisfied with the knowledge the Rossoneri fans would be happy to see Cassano in a Milan jersey.”

The Sampdoria star has also been linked with Juventus and is “95 per cent” sure of staying, according to Blucerchiati President Riccardo Garrone.

Cassano could be bought with some of the £60m Milan pocketed this week from Real Madrid for the Kaka sale.

However, some supporters might not appreciate his presence, as Cassano has stated he is an Inter fan.

wow, what do u think guys...??
