All I have to say about this is: Play it smart, keep it tight, counter the sh!t out of them.

Do that and we should be going through to the quarters

Not many options, with tons of players missing..

Abbiati
Abate - Silva - Mexes - Mesbah
Urby - MVB - Nocerino
Robinho
Ibra - El Sha

Should be enough vs this Arsenal.

I'd give Nocerino a rest for this one I think.

I would think that would depend on what squad we have available. This could be a good test for Aquilani and/or Flamini to get some minutes. that is, reliant on the hidden value of the doctors at Milan Lab not giving them a hemoabdomen by accidently prison-shanking them with a scalpel..

I would also be ok with giving Antonini the nod as i do feel he did more then well dealing with the outside threat of their wingers. That being said, Mesbah has done well when played and has a decent call for a start....

i do fully have to commend the play of Urby, Robi and, last but not least, Ibra who have all been very good if not unplayable (in the case of Robi and Ibra) of late... credit is due in our attacking department. It's also nice to see Allegri's faith in little E-man hasn't been completely unwarranted, i think people often forget just how different the Eredivise and Serie A are. Truthfully it's been a long process, and while he isn't our main protagonist, i do appreciate his recent contributions. Nice to see him get a goal too recently

I suppose i should be taking off my pink-tinted goggles now (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

You do realize that Nocerino, Van Bommel and Emanuelson are the only midfielders we have available for this game. Ambro is suspended and Muntari was not inserted in the CL players list.

Aquilani should be called up, but that's about it. He's not ready to play such important games yet. And Flamini can't play in the CL because we didn't include him in the list either.

We were gonna go with our strongest lineup anyway,we can't risk anything.

Not even considering watching this match ... We have four goals and they don't have an away goal. So, if we score an away goal on the night, they will have to come up with 6 goals, we score a second and they need 7 ... Unrealistic to be frank, especially when you consider the fact that we have already gone through a mistake such as Deportivo.

Even if had won 23-0 in the first leg, it's still worth watching. Still Milan, still against top4 EPL team away, still CL.

Emanuelson got injuried against Palermo and even though he'll be back for Arsenal, he wont be 100% fit. Aquilani is training with the team, but still I don't see him starting. He'll play 20 minutes max. Flamini got back from injury and was training for a long time so he'll probably play, IF he is in the CL list. Ambrosini is suspended, while we know that Seedorf and Boateng are injuried too. I'd go with this:

Abbiati
Abate - Mexes - Silva - Mesbah
Emanuelson - van Bommel - Nocerino
El Shaarawy
Robinho - Ibrahimovic

Aquilani for Emanuelson in the end of the first half.
van Bommel should play a smart game, he risks a bann if he gets a yellow card.

EDIT:
Forgot that Flamini is not in the CL list

We must be careful. if we conceded anything more than 1 goal in the first half and not score ourselves, we'll be in trouble. that said, this game will probably be a boring 1-1.

If we score, it's pretty much game over. And we usually do score and play well in England.

We haven't scored in the last three games there against Arsenal, ManU and Spurs.
