So...I don`t wanna make some ratings or even exact comments, only my views on some things that happened:
1) Everyone who undelined the injuries of Maldini and Gattuso as key factors of our negative result is right. After they went off, we started to shake. But it isn`t the only reason. We did conceed a secon goal against FCB in the last minutes too! And after we give a goal, we simply stop or slow down. Remember Inter? Milan leading 1-0...and at the end, we lost 1-2. Same against Bayern at San Siro, same at Old Trafford. So this is a problem - our team does not have the capacity to play 90 straight minutes of great football or to hold a leveled game.
2) Rino was great. He is great, and allways will be...with or without the captain armband. And the things dst said are all correct. This privilege is give not only to great players, but also to players with psychical capacity. Can you imagine the picture of our captain Rino yelling and shouting at the ref cause of some stupidity Matterazzi or C. Ronaldo? Can you blame him for that? No...but why give him the responsibility he cant handle? That would be just like letting Pippo play on side all the day...
3) Well, I`ve been pretty unconfident with that Bonera guy. But some of you guys gave him the green light and started to praise him. But...he deserved praise against Siena or Empoli or who-gives-a-d@mn. Against Inter he was bad! Against Roma the same! And now here...We don`t need him. We have allready Å imić and Kaladze, who both have more Euro experience than Bonera ever will have. But in such games Gourcuff and Bonera are surpluses, for the roles Carlo gives them. Gourcuff is still to green and I don`t like the idea of giving him the chance 10 minutes before the end of such an importatnt game. Cause, you`ve got to be Messi, Torres, or some of those hyped-youngsters to make a difference in 10 minutes. And Yohann can`t do that.

Yep, I will be thinking about the next leg all week. I can't wait for it to be over now so we'll find out what will happen.
Also has anyone mentioned the fact that in United's second goal, Roeney handled the ball to get control of it??

I dont know why, but every time manu scored, I was not even suprised, because it was clear that without Rino and Paolo we could not do much.
This maybe the first time im ever saying this, but i think this is the finish for Milan, yes even though we are playing in San Siro. We simply need a 1-0, but i am not sure if Milan can resist a 4-3-3 pressing from manu. Yes I am pessimistic about this game, and yes I felt the same in Bayern games, but back then I knew it was Bayern, and now it is manu.
Despite the score, I realized that if I dont get a job in the future, i will go killing people that i dont like, and my first aim will be gila. I mean, pleaaaase, touch the ball, ONCE, just once! If you take a good look at every try that Kaka took at the manu goal, 3 or 4 defenders stayed between him and gila.
"Ok Gila, try to understand, Kaka is not a striker, and NO he does not have to score goals to prove that he is great, but guess what? YOU are a striker, and what you do on the field is just pathetic. Oh, one more thing, you absolutely, have to score to prove that you are great! Surprise Surprise! Whatever, i hope i dont see your bald head on field anymore, outta here!"
As for the second leg, i am still pessimistic, but if we get Paolo to give 100% and Seedorf to play smart and not lose the ball, and Pippo to score, then we might achieve something. But as wee all know those are the 3 problems that we got.

My son went to see the game - he didn't get home till god knows what time this morning.
I've got to say that Man Utd were the better team in the 2nd half, they didn't need their goalie, and Man Utd did their usual trick by snatching a winning goal in the dying moments of the game.
Good luck in Italy next week, AC Milan will need it..!!
Rob.
