Good start - looks like a smooth and composed regista type player albeit I need to see more of him to judge.

From what I saw of Montolivo we will need this guy to step up for sure.

Definitely positive. We've been missing someone like him since Pirlo left. Obviously he's not at Pirlo level but he's been one of the best registas in the league for a while now.

Monto is finished. We should offer him a back room role now.

Wow, much expectations for Biglia I see. I'm very skeptical.

Wow, much expectations for Biglia I see. I'm very skeptical.

Why? Because he older and hasn't played for a big team yet?

He was Lazio's most influential player these last few years, especially last season. Obviously he's no Modric/Cesc but imo he'll give us a quality jump in the midfield.

And technically he's been one of our least talked about signings (probably because his deal coincided with Bonucci's), that's why I think he'll be our most underrated (but hugely influential) signing.

Pretty much. He's already 31, played for Lazio for 3 or 4 years and prior to that for Anderlecht. Could easily turn into an Aquilani or Montolivo.

He would have turned by now. At 31 both Aquilani and Montolivo were finished players, whereas Biglia is still playing at high levels.

Look, he's not the flashy player that makes all the assists and gives spectacle on the pitch. But he's a metronome, somebody who can control the tempo and organize play, and a good one at that.

I didn't want him before because I thought we would sign 3-4 players max, but given how this summer campaign has gone for the time being I'm more than happy with Biglia.

We should offer him nothing. Goddamn disappointment that man!

It's just a solution for getting rid of him as no club would want him now, especially not with his high wages and injury record
