With this, it's time for Gilardino start scoring some goals. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

He definitely hasn't proved his worth in my book. 16 goals last season was nice but they were generally again weak teams or when we beat 4-0. He has potential. Scheva and Inzaghi were our strikers that saved us from draw or defeat.

If he doesn't score in the CL this season, then he should be the 4th striker in my book.

So far, yes. And don't try to defend him, because I made all my points in the thread linked in my sig.

I backed my opinions with facts. Your opinion, however, is merely based on Gila's ability to perform well as a team player. If you ask me, a player like Bonera is also a great team player, no matter where he plays in the defense, but we all know he is not a great RB! Great team player, not a great RB! Same with Gila, great team player, not a great striker for us so far...

You should also consider the fact that he got a new contract ... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Milan extended it ... not me ... till 2011
and your example with Bonera is incomprehensible to me ... first of all where did I say that Gila is just a good team player ??

Well, other than that... What is he right now? Just a player up there for the sake of being there? Give it up buddy... We all like him and his Rossoneri spirit, but he is just not a world class striker... At least not for Milan, not yet.

He is world class player, he proved it last year. He is also a world champion and he's worth to be such. And I'm not supporting him just for the sake of it, just cause he's a rossonero ... I don't support Kaladze now do I ??? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Oh and even if you do not consider him a world class player ... being "a flop" is a long way from it !!!

Well, let's see what he does this year. I was so sure that this year is going to be his year, but he proved me wrong by not scoring AT ALL so far. And as I said before, even if he does start scoring again against little teams and goals that are not desicive, it won't change anything. I wanna see Gila decide an important CL game or do something amazing on a big occasion. So far, I've been dissapointed. let's see what happens next.

Decisive goals ? he is inexperienced to go that far, but what he could do is start scoring and breaking the ice with his shiness at scoring with Milan .. I mean he plays for Parma, he scores a lot !! He plays for Italy, he scores in 1:2 games he plays .. But when he's playing for Milan, its like he has this huge responsability on his shoulders .. Inzaghi is Inzaghi .. He cant be compared to Gilardino, he is our lucky charm ..
