Important match? I think Atletico is (and probably will be) the last important match. This season is lost, I'm positive we won't get relegated, but taking 9th or 10th spot is pretty much irrelevant.

Getting 5th or 6th is not out of the question yet. We are four points away from 6th.

6th place gives you nothing.
----------

Milan have lost Christian Abbiati as well for tomorrow’s trip to Sampdoria, as he is suffering from flu.

Clarence Seedorf already had to deal with an extensive injury list, including Mario Balotelli, Mattia De Sciglio, Cristian Zapata, Robinho, Stephan El Shaarawy, Matias Silvestre, Vlater Birsa and Bryan Cristante.

Now goalkeeper Abbiati has also pulled out after coming down with flu symptoms and a high temperature.

It remains to be seen whether Marco Amelia or Gabriel will be picked, though since taking over from Massimiliano Allegri the new Coach has tended to favour Amelia.

Milan squad for Sampdoria: Amelia, Coppola, Gabriel, Abate, Bonera, Constant, Mexes, Rami, Zaccardo, Emanuelson, Essien, De Jong, Honda, Kaka, Montolivo, Muntari, Poli, Saponara, Taarabt, Pazzini, Petagna

It does if the Coppa winner and runner up are already qualified for EL or CL... right? And that should be the case right now.

Every match from now until the end of the season is important. To see how we're improving from week to week, and for me, it's important that we finish at least around the European places, finishing 9th or 10th is just plain old emberassing.

I personally don't really want us to be in the EL, it's a waste of time and resources but finishing lower for us with the team we have is just ridiculous.

So, we should finish 7th or 8th but not 4th, 5th, 6th or 9th and 10th? Damn, you're picky, han. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Don't know, I'm at odds about it, on one hand I don't want us to finish in a pitiful spot, but on the other hand EL will be a waste of time for us next season. I can't decide
