Ali Daei at his prime, I mean we talk about Zidane, but compared to the footballing level of Asia, he was top of the line. The Iranian national team earned it's respect in Asia, because of him; he has been a first team choice from the early 90's till this years WC (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

But now, he isn't as good (obviously) .. Bayern have, his supposed successor in Ali Karimi, or did he leave them this season (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) In any case, he is good too

He is still there but I think he will leave at the end of the season since he isn't first team player and his contract is almost finished

He isn't that bad but Bayern is too much for him. He need to find a club that will be more suited for him.

Karimi doesn't exactly match bayerns play style. I think karimi would fit much better into an epl team than he does in the bundesliga. Karimi is a pure playmaker and is best fit into creating tap in opportunities like he did at the UAE club of his and at Iran NT. He plays a very similar role fabregas but more foreward, but before you start freaking out on me; fabregas is better and i'll admit that. He wont get much better at the tap-ins specialists team but he is still pretty good.

Ali Daei
Age: 38
Nationality: Iran
Caps: 149
Goals: 109
He was the main reason why i started liking soccer so much and Paolo maldini and Andriy Shevchenko were the reasons why i love milan to this day.  I didn't get to see MVB or any other legends play but seeing paolo is good enough for me.

Ali Daei rox!
It would be really nice if he somehow magically regained his youth, cuz I didn't get to see much of him except for the World Cup. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten to watch much football until last year, so I basically missed all the great legends. *sighs*

Pele, pretty much by default; I did the youth soccer and soccer-camp schtick as a kid (early '80s) and he was the only player I'd heard of at the time.
