QUOTE (zdrossoneri @ Sep 7 2008, 12:28 PM) So is Mourinho but some named him. that's considering the leave their current teams and join us! I thought you didn't like his attitude (punching people, encouraging his players to kick the opponent, etc.) Oh okay. And to answer your second question, I can live with it, as long he wins us some trophies. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) He's a darn good coach, that's for sure. What's his record in the World Cups, 13 consecutive victories, is it? I know it won't happen, but if given a choice between Zico and Big Phil, I'd have a very hard time choosing.

I'm wondering if there's any particular significance in Tassotti giving that interview yesterday. I don't recall him doing long interviews like that at all. The conspiracy theorist in me wonders if it's a hint of management changes to come.

MVB was a god as a footballer (sorry, dst!). Not so much as a coach. I'd prefer Rijkaard over MVB if a Dutch alum were to take over for Ancelotti.

Well For Now, I"ll Stick With Ancelotti. Next year, Put Poalo Maldini as Head Coach (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Maldini has stated many times that he doesn't want to coach. I'd love to see him doing something with Milan management though. Maybe Galliani will retire?
All these non-alumni suggestions are interesting. Thing is, I don't think Ancelotti's replacement (whenever it comes) will be an 'outsider' -- meaning, I think the new coach will be someone who played for Milan at some point. That doesn't narrow things down a whole lot as many former players are now coaches, but that's part of the club's tradition.
