QUOTE (jbryant1 @ Aug 18 2010, 04:00 PM) Ben Arfa= Lyon reject who has the talent with no discipline. Not really a team player and a huge risk. If he could turn he might be brilliant.
Boateng= honestly a Tottenham reject was terrible with a big team at a high level. World cup performance was great.
So it's not like we're picking up Messi here but really two rejects with potential to get better. Milan is a pressure cooker and alot of these kinds of players don't do well. In any case I jump at the opportunity to see something new. Buy neymar!! Yeh that's exactly what i thought but he didn't do THAT well in the WC,he was average for me,the player who really held their midfield together was Annan i thought. I really can't get that challenge he made on Ballack in FA cup final out of my mind and his response afterwards was terrible,no apology and blamed Ballack for reacting lol...that really put me off. However if he can do a job for us then why not,but i'm not optimistic about it. I would rather see Merkel gain experience.

I don't think Milan should go for Ben Arfa. The things he's doing to Deschamps and Marseille are out of line.

I don't really understand the logic behind this, are we that broke that we can't even afford to buy an average player, and that a mid table club is giving us hand me downs? (IMG: style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Anyways, atleast we have some depth at midfield that isn't a defensive mid

Why does he say we're not going to sign anyone.. then we sign someone. Does he think it'll make all the fans happy because it's a surprise or what? He's just irritating, can't wait until he;s no longer at the club.

(IMG: style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Anyways, atleast we have some depth at midfield that isn't a defensive mid Well yes, I thought that was common knowledge by now (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) As per, Cesare Maldini on Jazeera sports channel, when asked about the state of AC Milan and the quality of players the club is recruiting ... he said that, '.. the club has changed its policy entirely regarding transfers and focusing on its youth sector and players .. '. I personally am left with a bad taste in my mouth, yet have come to terms with this a while ago. We can attract the biggest of names, but we no longer can pay the wages nor the funds in order for that to happen. I am happy with this transfer, because as you said we have some depth in midfield. I also am of the opinion that there is a good accord between Milan and Genoa, where we had done three major transactions with them; Amelia, Sokratis and Boateng. At least there is some movement in the market, and we are strengthening in three key areas (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
