Great goals by Il Fenomeno. He might be a bit slow, but he's still pure class!

So, Ronaldo broke his hand during the weekend game.

When he went in to have surgery on it, he also decided (so globoesporte says and so mediaset repeats) to have a little liposuction. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Corinthians Star Ronaldo Piles On The Pounds & Admits He Is Overweight
The forward's dismal physical condition rules him out of Corinthians' next game, despite a full recovery from his previous injury...

By Daniel Edwards

Brazilian football legend Ronaldo has recovered from a leg injury, which ruled him out for the past three months, but the striker admits that the excess weight he gained during his recuperation period will keep him out of the Corinthians team for even longer.

Ronaldo is currently at least three stone overweight after sustaining a muscle injury in his left leg, and Globoesporte reports that after rejoining team preparations, the former Barcelona, Inter and Selecao star could not even train on Friday due to his awful physical condition.

And the striker today admitted via his twitter page that his fans would have to stay patient if they wanted to see him back in action.

"Yesterday was my first team training for three months. It was ok, I am weighing too much and am struggling with my mobility. In about 15 days I'll be fine," he posted on the social networking site.

Ronaldo has not played a competitive game since May 9, when he scored a goal in a 2-1 win over Atletico PR in the league's first round of fixtures.

Sorry, I know it sounds mean, but I'm having visions of the Michelin Man here. Maybe it's the round pate, formidable paunch and the all-white outfit.

Well it's obvious the older he gets the easier for him to pack on the pounds. Players have an advantage when it comes to losing all that weight because of all the qualified people they have that well snap them back in shape in a matter of weeks, which is why guys like Ronaldo and Ronaldinho don't think twice about spending a summer over indulging in eating and drinking as much as they can while on holiday.

The funny thing is he will be over weight and still score a boat load of goals.

When I was out in Europe my first home game at Milan I saw Ronaldo make his starting debut in a Milan jersey. Ronaldo was the greatest forward and perhaps player in history.

just like the photos of overweight Ronaldinho who obviously was breathing out. These photographers sit there and take 3000 pictures and take the one that looks the best or worst. Its got to be pretty tough, your a multi millionaire and you can't eat anything.
