Yeah, it's sad to see him like this.

QUOTE (Rossoneri7 @ Sep 25 2012, 02:51 PM) Yup ... He remains one of the all time best forwards this game has offered. Not easy living like this now. Well said man, well said. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Just imagine him with little to no injuries, and not this health condition. Ronaldo was one of the very few that had sheer raw talent, plus speed. The likes of which are rarely seen. Like I said, just imagine him as a regular, fully fit striker, one that could play till age 35/36, at least club football. Nevertheless, every one of his 9 goals at Milan are eternally etched in my memory. Even if he hadn't scored a single goal in his time here, I'd have been awfully contend at just the sight of seeing him in a Milan shirt. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) Say what you may about Berlusconi, but he sure is a man of good taste when it comes to singing up star players - even if a lot of them are past their prime. Just the thought of a big name coming to Milan for 1-2 years is a beautiful one. That said, all this gives me hope we'll get to see the new Ronaldo here in a few years time - CRON, that is.

Well, from what I've read, Hypothyroidism comes with its own range of problems, and it could be really nasty for different people. Particularly professional athletes, like I said, because for them almost everything is magnified to another level - the gladiators they are, they have different everything from a normal, random person. I read in detail before the 2006 FIFA World Cup how hard it was for Ronaldo. This actually was the time when almost everyone was calling him 'fat'. And well let's just say he wasn't blessed, shall we say, like Antonini and his eat-everything-but-never-get-fat body type. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) And frankly, near talentless Antonini is, no one messed up with his growth or artificially bulked him up while he was a teenager. As for your mom, good to hear she's coping and managing herself well. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Wish her the best health!
