Kessie was practically doing the job of 3 men in there. Meite was really not helping out much in the defensive phase. Plus he looked to be in a bit of pain in those last 20 minutes or so. I think we've over strained a lot of out players. All these injuries and covid have not allowed Pioli to rotate effectively and we're seeing the negative effects now.

Like I said after the Atalanta game, all that matters is how we respond next Saturday. The league is all that should matter
