I actually feel like Rino will continue to take us backwards, he was absolutely everything we should have avoided.

What a terrible decision by the management. Fassone is really starting to make me doubt him at this point

You simply do not appoint a rookie when the team is in crises FFS.

Only now?

A friend told me in June that Fassone and Mirabelli were clowns that would only harm this club. I derided him back then. Now I see his point.

Fassone has been in the top management of most of the top clubs in the league and was involved heavily in projects like the Juventus stadium

I'd hardly call him a clown. Not all decisions are going to be perfect. That's a fact of life. Rino was an easy solution when Montella simply couldn't be kept on any longer. Next summer for me will define whether these 2 can be successful or failures.

The performances of the team are due to various factors. When a team is going through a major identity crises a coach with character and experience is needed. Rino was obviously a bad choice from the get-go. I'm 99.9% sure that they won't keep him on past the summer though, so we'll see what happens. It's just so disheartening to see another season being wasted. Especially after all the money that was spent and seeing what Inter are doing now under Spaletti

It leads me to believe that probably Carlo is coming back. Only with Carlo can I imagine Rino willing to become asst. coach or go back to being primavera coach. But who knows.

The game as such was a lot better than I thought it would be. Lot of fragility, and the defence is confused (thanks Montella), but Jack is scoring again (3 goals and 1 assist in his last 2 games) and our attack looks better with that 4-3-3. Strikers are still a problem. Kalinic will always 'look useless' as the sole striker in a 4-3-3. He's a lumbering CF type and though he created 5 chances yesterday (as per stats) he will always look ineffective.

But I also think I might be the jinx here. All the games I've watched this season, we've lost. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I actually turned off the game in the second half and tried to follow on twitter and lo and behold we won.

Nah, don't think too much about such things or you'll drive yourself crazy

We have the Coppa tonight against Verona, I'll just open one thread and we can use it for the entire competition

As for Carlo, I think there's a higher probability of him coaching the Azzurri next season rather than Milan
