Lizarazu? Hmm, he was the captain of France in World Cup 1998. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Ruined my summer, never liked him since. He stamped Italy in the quarters, and Brazil, of course, in the final. It was supposed to be Ronaldo's tournament, he burst into the scene, and was immense in the World Cup. But it was some guy named Zidane who fluked his way to the top. Mind you, he was pretty mediocre leading to the final. Oh well.

Personal preferences, just that. Then again, the only French players I ever care about are Gorcuff, Ribbery and Benzama.

Was he now. Oops! Anyway, still don't like Lizarazu. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Unh, unh. He was in the team that dumped the duo of Paolo and Caesre in the quarters. The only member I have of that match is the dirty play by France.

In fact, I don't have many memories of World Cup 1998. Don't need them.

I can hardly remember anything about it either, just Di Biagio hitting the cross bar in the shootout & crying a lot afterwards. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) Hope it doesn't bring up repressed memories for you. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Dugarry (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) what a flop, the only thing he did for us was dump us out the UEFA cup when he played for Bordeaux.

Two of my absolute favorite teams (Italy and Brazil), brushed aside towards the end of the tournament. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) It can't get worse than that. I was thirteen then. Exactly 10 years ago, to this day. Sigh.

Oh yea, I remember the final was on 12/07 because they were saying it would be great to win it on Vieri's Birthday which was/is exactly a week before mine. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Many champions will be on the pitch tonight in Munchen: the two captains will be Clarence Seedorf and Michael Ballack, the coach of one of the two will be Paolo Maldini. In the team led by the Milan captain, also Michael Schumacher and Eros Ramazzotti will play. Among the Italians, other than Del Piero, also Nesta, Gattuso and Pirlo are expected.

So,it's the first Team of Maldini as a coach(IMG:http://www.clicksmilies.com/s1106/cool/cool-smiley-003.gif)

Gee, thanks Vahid. I heard about this match to be played in Munich. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) Fingers crossed Paolo's team will win, and win comfortably.
