I really don't get this obsession with pure strikers!
We need a creative mind in that midfield or we'll be seeing a repeat of that Samp game on a consistant basis. Forget CL football we'll be fighting to even get a EL spot

QUOTE (X-Offender @ Aug 28 2012, 05:34 PM) I don't rate Bojan at all. He made his name because he played at Barça, but at Roma he was completely useless. You rate Ze Eduardo!? - QUOTE Juve reject €60m for Vidal & Marchisio By Football Italia staff
Juventus reportedly rejected a €60m offer from Bayern Munich for Arturo Vidal and Claudio Marchisio.
According to Tuttosport, the German club made contact with their Turin counterparts earlier this summer and they were ready to dig deep to net the duo.
Bayern boss Jupp Heynckes is understood to have been the architect behind the failed bid for the midfield two.
Juventus already rejected approaches from Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain for Vidal at the end of last season.
It’s also not the first time that Bayern have gone for the Chilean given that Juve pipped them to his signature in 2011 when Bayer Leverkusen made him available for transfer.
Marchisio, an Italian international, is a youth-team product and is considered as a future captain of the side. No matter how good they are, I don't think they're worth 60m at all, yet Juve rejected the offer. why do Juve and Inter not seem affected by FFP at all? I could take this state of Milan easier if those two were in trouble as well.

QUOTE (amancik @ Aug 28 2012, 03:22 PM) I really think we're going for youth now. Niang, Bojan, El Shaarawy, De Sciglio ... not to forget Carmona, Valoti and Strasser are in the first team squad now. So I think we should just accept this situation and look forward to seeing how they perform throughout the season. At least we can assess how good these young players actually are at the end of the season and could imply how good or bad our youth system is. Over the years we've been complaining how Milan had been overlooking young players preferring "champions" instead. Now we have the opportunity to see whether they were right or wrong in doing so. Youngest squad ever to capture Serie A (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sleepysmiley03.gif) aaaaand I just woke up. We keep accumulating strikers, but what about a LB and DM? I guess there aren't any free options there for Galliani to sink his teeth in. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) (what follows is not personal (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) ) Oh come on, when will that stop about everyone looking good at Barcelona??? Hleb looked **** and he was terrific at Arsenal. Fabregas has not looked half the player he was at Arsenal. I guess it's the Wenger curse. What's wrong with them??? Why do they bother pay scouts then, they could just watch youtube clips and buy whoever looks decent and the the rest of the team will make him look great!!! Seriously, I think it's become ridiculous...
