That's that, then. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) I'll take solace in the fact that there were negotiations in the first place.

But it's only Monday... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Man, I haven't felt so bad for this team in a very long time. At least back then when we didn't sign squat, we still had our champions to rely on. Right now there are no champions, no leaders and no quality signings. Just a bunch of mediocre players to fill the void. Latest rumor has it that we're interested in Palombo. I wish we had a remote that could fast forward to a period where things start to pick up... because I really do not like this depressing atmosphere around the club....everything has gone wrong from our two best players leaving, to our icons and legends leaving, to a player betraying us and to an awful start to the season, things look and are BAD

Maybe our plan is to slowly sink Madrid... By not getting Kaka and other players as we have done in the past, there could be dressing room and financial problems in the future. Galliani is a genius after all.....

Can anyone think of a worse transfer window that we've had?

Yes two years ago. Then we signed Ibra and Robinho.

Kaka has tax problems like Cissoko has bad teeth.

Even without those signings it would've been a better transfer window than this. Because that summer we didn't lose anyone did we? This season we've lost Nesta, Silva, Van Bommel, Aquilani, Cassano and Ibra who you could argue are first team quality. We;ve taken a bigger step back this window than I can ever remember.

That's a good point. Didn't think about the outgoing players.

From FI:

QUOTE
Milan have confirmed that they have ended their pursuit of Real Madrid’s Ricky Kaka. “It’s too much of a risk.”

The Diavolo have been in talks for their former Golden Ball winner with the intention of taking him back on loan for the 2012-13 campaign.

However, after holding talks with the Madrid outfit and the Brazilian’s entourage, the San Siro giants have had to admit defeat.

“There are tax issues for Kaka,” Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani noted. “The negotiations have come to an end. It’s too risky.”

Galliani made the statement after wrapping up a deal with Caen for teenage striker M'Baye Niang.

“I don’t know if our market will end with him,” the official added. “He’s here for now, then we will have to wait and see.

“He can play as a first or a second striker. He’s only 17, but he’ll be in the first team squad under Massimiliano Allegri.

“We think he’s a good player – even if I usually give new players six months before making a final assessment of them.”

Bojan reportedly very close to signing with Milan after delaying his move to Malaga. Interesting player - Galliani is certainly driving down the average age!
