This match is utterly boring, glad i didnt go (with exams coming up probably a good idea too)

For all their dominance Zenit still cant break down Rangers

Rangers definitly more in it in the 2nd half.

Arsharvin should have scored. The keeper was caught making a mistake well out of his goal, and he just tried to place the ball when there was defenders on the line!

I think their coach has played a big part in their lack of chances. Being defensive and playing 1 striker is fine.. when you're not losing. To leave Boyd off the field for so long is criminal, he's scored over 50 goals in around 70 games for Rangers!

Even clearer handball by rangers earlier (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

At least a team wanting to play football won tonight, Forza Zenit St Petersburg (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

One thing in football worse than a team being defensive.. a team that can't break down a team. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Exactly. They've eliminated Bayer, Bayern, Marseille, etc.

And in the final, even without Pogrebnjak, they've done their job.
(Still imagining a Fiorentina-Bayern dream final (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/innocent.gif) )

VINDICATION!!!

This is a great night for football... there is a football God after all... this sport can be so cruel and unjust at times and Rangers were so lucky to get past, Werder, Sporting and Fiorentina but vindication has come at last! Sweet, sweet victory for football! **** YOU RANGERS! JUST GO **** YOURSELVES! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

They did break them down in the end but even they hadn't, I'll always be with the team that tries to play football rather than with the team that slurs it!

I disagree with you on both accounts. Rangers were not in any way lucky to get through those games, they deserved it, to say otherwise and it's obvious you're bitter that they knocked out Fiorentina.

Victory for football? obviously Villa have unjustly made Europea this season then, shame you think that way!

I wasn't talking about Zenit really, they deserbed to win. I'm more annoyed that the team that is going to beat us to 4th place is.. average. They have the majority of the posession over 180 minutes and di nothing with it.
