Did anyone know he's only played a total of 67 minutes with Fulham so far? Very poor.

And Allegri used to start him as AM or even forward. He can't even cut it at Fulham! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

QUOTE
Urby Emanuelson says he would like to primarily be used as a left-back by Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri this season.

The Dutchman can be fielded in a variety of midfield roles, but he has outlined that he does have a preference.

“I feel ready to play in whatever position will most benefit the team and the Coach,” Emanuelson commented from the Diavolo’s American training base.

“It is true that I am a very versatile player, but I have to say that my favoured role is as a left-back.”

The 27-year-old is back at Milan after spending the second half of last season on loan with Premiership side Fulham.

“We won’t be just targeting a top three finish in Serie A this term,” added the January 2011 signing from Ajax.

“We want to end the campaign as champions of Italy!”

Headlines are dumb, in no way has he said he would like to be used there, just that's his favourite role. I have no problem with keeping versatile players around.

Sure, when they're capable of being versatile. But Emanuelson simply isn't. Just think how he played for Fulham.

Whatever happened to him? Barely 8 minutes played with Roma so far, not even on the bench tomorrow. Not surprising, though, considering how bad he is. Good decision to let him go.

Good decision, indeed. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) A nothing player, really, good for rotation, just.

He's been terrible for us, same probably with Roma. He should sing with a Dutch mid-table team, that's his best range.

The fact that Ajax let him go for free and he couldn't even cut it at Fulham really show what kind of a player he is.
