League is still winnable and must be top priority. CL tie as well.
Why aren't we investing already? I have no real idea. This is the only question that bothers me at the moment.
Pioli parading with Pobega and Vranckx, especially in such unimportant games, is a very good thing. It attracts attention and hopefully will wake our management up.

Kalulu playing awful these days? where is Kjaer? Injured again?
If we continue like this we?ll have no chance in holding the race or 2nd spot at least. And Conte will just walk over us with Tottenham..

Some things never change I suppose, like Han's fixations... (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Pobega surely is part of the problem, but today he's about the only player that gives a damn and tries. Calabria and Kalulu are the main culprits, and not just today. Hernandez and Giroud, like you mentioned, seemed to be still in Quatar. Leao isn't shining as well. Midfield and especially the right side is non existant. I hope Pioli makes at least 2 changes, taking off Kalulu and Alexis would make sense. Then Pobega as well, or even the consistently useless Diaz. Just remember that we once faught back a 3-0 deficit at the very same Via del Mar.

Don't think that's going to happen today considering Pioli doesn't have much options to take off the bench. Once again, we're in January and we're not addressing the very obvious depth issues we have once you go beyond the first 11 players The attack is inexistent because we do not have a midfield. Bennacer can't do it all on his own. Once again, as soon as we lose either him or Sandro, we lose the grip on the game. Pobega has become a fixation because Pioli has made it so. The guy might look eternally busy running around like a headless chicken but he contributes absolutely nothing You cannot take Kalulu and Calabria off. The alternatives are much worse. Without Florenzi and Kjaer we have no decent back up for either

QUOTE (X-Offender @ Jan 14 2023, 09:09 PM) Yeah, but you don't play somebody simply because he tries. Pobega is utter shite. Vranckx should have started this game today. I don't think Vranckx is much better. He was awful against Torino. I really don't see why Pobega should be the main problem. Han, I'd pick Kjaer for this one. Kalulu is completely out.

Han, I'd pick Kjaer for this one. Kalulu is completely out. Sorry, thought Kjaer was still injured. Didn't know he was on the bench Don't tell me he was worse than Pobega! And it was his first start.
