....so personally I see it as a good sign that we got the away leg out of the way and came back with a good result.

So, I was reading some comments on Facebook and apparently Saponara has chronic groin problems, which could mean very little play time for the next 6 months. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I think right now Real Madrid are the best team in the world (until proven otherwise).

Sad and pathetic that a club like Milan can't find a place for it's greatest symbol. And I'm not writing this for the first time.

I think Flamini and De Jong could work as part of a double pivot. But we have no one who can play as a sole striker. I imagine Balotelli would work that role.

If we want to be competitive as a top team, we should retire Montolivo to the bench and move boateng to his place and sign a pure AM behind the 2 forwards. And Balzaretti could give us 2-3 quality years on that left side if we could manage to sign him for a reasonable price/ wage.

Too many shoulds and coulds. Just have to wait and see.

I don't know if AM is the right word.

What we need is that player who plays the pass that makes the assist if you know what I mean. We have Cassano, Ibra, SeS...all of whom are assist men plus goal-scorers. But we're not getting the ball enough and consistently into areas where they can cause damage.

Yesterday if Cassano hadn't scored that goal off the mistake, then we would have had another long slugfest of attrition.

Would love a Modric or someone like the old Ballack. Someone who doesn't need to be quick, but can change the tempo of the play- make a quick release of the ball into space, or put his foot on the ball and calm things down when we get out of shape...

Currently we have no one in the squad who can do that except Seedorf. And he can't do it consistently on his own.

we need someone dependable, imo, best thing for the DM position is to bring in someone new and convince VB to renew for another year. Other than that Ambro shouldn't be an option anymore unless it's Coppa Italia

He can play both. It has been a while I've seen him play. But if he can play good as a rightback I'd have welcomed him. I really want us to play 4-3-1-2, and we really need to sign at least 1 fullback who is good in attacking.

Blue, I think you rely too much on the primavera kids when in reality it's too soon to do that. Surely, I'd choose Strasser over Gattuso any day (but only as 6th choice) and I wouldn't mind Verdi being the vice-Pato instead of the parting Adiyiah, but this squad needs proved (but not old) champions rather than primavera kids yet to be conceived in the big stage.
