"The important thing is to win games and it was crucial to start well against a promoted side that could have posed some danger to us." Allegri believes his players still have some way to go before they reach their top form. "We have only been working together for a month and there is still a lot of work left to be done," he said. "But so far so good." Allegri also expressed his satisfaction with his club's latest signing. Milan over the weekend acquired Zlatan Ibrahimovic on an initial loan deal from Barcelona to boost their chances of challenging Inter Milan for the league title. "Ibrahimovic's arrival has created a great atmosphere," said Allegri. "But even before Ibrahimovic's arrival, the Scudetto was one of our aims. "Ibrahimovic is going to be an important player for us." |
