Because he would be at most the 3rd best player for his positions. He is far from a players who makes us stronger. Also, we got a lot of prospects for the left side. I don't see any reason to sign Drenthe.

We can at least get him on loan or something. He can play midfield and left back. I am just saying. Getting him on loan def would not be a bad deal, and I don't think he is as bad as you're making him sound. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/innocent.gif)

AC Milan have signed Spanish left-back Adria Carmona on a free transfer. The 18-year-old was a Barcelona junior team member until recently.

Someone should tell him how much he could hang out with Sneijder.....and that his wife could shop all day long and hang out with the biggest fashion people in the world! Silly VDV.

What is there to do in Manchester? Other than take bets on how long it'll take SAF to give himself a heart attack?

Why would we use Drenthe as left back? Both Antonini and Zambrotta are obvious better, and I don't see much difference between Jankulovski or Drenthe as left back. If we want to sign someone to cover the left back spot, surely there are better options out there. I would not be surprised if one of our many young left backs is better as left back than Drenthe already.

Drenthe is better as midfielder, but not that good. He comes not even close to midfielders like Pirlo, Ambrosini, Seedorf, Flamini and Prince. Surely because of the latter two we don't need Drenthe. And we also got Merkel and Strasser who I really like to get some playing time. Drenthe is a very bad reason to take minutes away from them.

FYI, Ibra's agent (Maiola) is a well-known jerk. In 2005, he once made up a story about how Juventus turned down a 70 million euro offer from Real Madrid in an attempt to increase Ibra's market value.

Eh... its not like he's got a stressful job anymore... he apparently doesn't even bother to watch guys before he buys them!

Why should we not make a move for him?

I agree with you here. We have Madrid and man city that have a surplus and talent we could use. The problem is we have mean Mr. Scrooge Galliani counting his coins with the hair plugs have fried my brain Berlusconi who has lost his mind. Worst managed team in Europe.

Most people view some of these guys at Milan as if they were the same players 5 years ago. Zambrotta hasn't been world class since his Juventus days. Pirlo, seedorf, ambronsini, and gattuso are just plain mediocre now maybe worse than that. With Pirlo the last two seasons he has been horrible. You could clear them all out and I wouldn't think twice. I rather see our youth players fight it out than these guys.

Pirlo dosn't belong in that list. He hasn't been up to par because he was being played in the wrong position. Being shackled in front of the defence having to do the dirty work that Ambro and Rino were supposed to be doing but weren't.

If Pirlo were to be given a free role he'll be back to his best easily. His talent, vision and passing ability is still there, but it's kind of hard to produce that when you're too busy trying to defend and there is generally minimal to no movement in front of you, which is a big problem since Pirlo needs movement from the fullbacks and forwards that are in front of him in order to produce.

And even while at his worst Pirlo is still out most important player on the pitch, no contest. We just don't know how to function without him, and not Carlo, Leo and as far as I can see Allegri know how to change that and make the team flow while he's not playing.

Are we still talking about Drenthe?

Plain mediocre or worse? Except for Gattuso that's an overloaded piece of BS. Ambrosini is one of the better DM's in Serie A, surely last season. Ambrosini, Seedorf and Pirlo are no mediocore players, let alone worse than that. Someone like Drenthe is mediocore.

Pleeeeeeeaaassee Vitesse take Kaladze from us (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Might be serious because the new owner of Vitesse is also Georgian and with the money he has we might even get 5+ million for our worst player

I would not count on it. Several (more attractive) clubs tried to sign Kaladze, but he just refuses to leave. Why would it be different this time?

Voetbalprimeur says that Merab Jordania en Kakha Kaladze got a history together. Merab used to be Kakha's agent. I hope they really like each other.

http://www.voetbalprimeur.nl/site/nieuws/1...or_Vitesse.html

Dutch media are overloaded with rumours about Kaladze and Rajkovic being very close going to Vitesse. It's about to happen. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) I almost can't believe it might happen. Please let this happen!

They should tell Vitesse that they can take Kaladze for free as long as they take Jankulovski with him (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Galliani has finally broken his silence and has stated that there is a 99.9% chance Ibra will NOT come.

milannews.it

He did not say that the market was closed however, which is something that usually comes up about this time.
