This game means f*** all. Its obvious to see what allegri was doing when he started that defensive line and sat pirlo and dinho.

Against arsenal; you'll see a better match up.

He'll play 4-2-3-1 forsure; I have no doubts.

Thought Don Silvio said in his press conference he wanted 2 strikers up top and definately wanted Pato not playing wide so i'm not sure what system will be played as yet...i'll find out saturday when i watch the game! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) (sorry couldn't resist it)

Well Silvio has a lot of demands doesn't he? But nothing to back that up

He wants Dinho closer to goal
Doesn't want Pato playing wide
Wants to play with 2 strikers
Wants to see attacking flowing football

The man is definately senile. he's ridiculous. Hopefully Allegri flips him off and plays what he thinks is best, if Silvio has any complaints he can coach the team himself and we'll see how long it takes before we're fighting relegation (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

We can't play with 2 striker and Dinho closer to goal. So we either play the 4-3-1-2 with Dinho in the hole, or a 4-2-1-3. Or keep playing the 4-3-3 and see how that goes. Either way, Allegri needs to find a system that works and quick, we can't have another bad start to the season if we want to have a look in at the Scudetto

You did take a look at that defence we lined up? You actually believe that's our first team? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Really..with 4 days of training after like 3 months of vacation, you can hardly expect the team to be sharp..even the level 2/3 players.

I agree its not most of the team but its a second division team we got beat 2-0 nothing to, there are no excuses. Chelsea, Barcelona, or other top teams unless flying out on a 20 hour plane trip to play in a friendly, would completely destroy a junk team like Varese.

It shows that we cannot rely on our bench and that our second choice players will not hold against the best teams in the world. If Ronaldinho, Pirlo, or Pato get injured or out for some reason our entire team is finished for the season. We are talking about AC Milan here. The skill level between Varese and AC Milan should be 10 fold with Milan having the cream of the crop. The skill level itself should be enough to beat any second division team. But as we have learned from the last 2 years, the "oh we're Milan and look at what we did" attitude got us killed last season against mediocre teams and humiliated in the champions league. It one of the reasons I just get away from even posting its just so disappointing to see this organization go from the best to a joke losing to second division teams and blowing it off like oh its no big deal.

But the Emirates Cup will be the bigger club, lets hope for the best.

With Dinho closer to goal you have this problem of not having any creativity in midfield to get transition the ball. You have the Ancelotti midfield pretty much is what they are counting on for getting the ball to the strikers up top or you play the full backs down the flank and our fullbacks aren't Maicon, Alves, or Ashley Cole. If you follow what Berlusconi is saying you would have 3 forwards up top who not even receive the ball because there is not central creative force to pass it to them. If you look at Inter you have Sniejder in the middle or Maicon down the flank. With us we have no options. Ronaldinho and Pirlo are the only proven playmakers and the best teams will do everything they can to shut them down. I agree Berlusconi is in a completely different Universe to reason and common sense.
