QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Jul 8 2014, 09:32 PM) Yep. Brazil were fine for the first 10 when they had the ball. Whenever they've been attacked though Germany have just gone through the MF at all.
Brazils DMs are so massively overrated. Agreed, the fact that they have no one who can actually put their foot on the ball and calm things down a bit is a big problem for them, and it's been obvious from the first game tbh, they just haven't faced anyone really good enough to hurt them and they had Silva as well in there

QUOTE (Fillipo Simone @ Jul 9 2014, 02:49 AM) So, the tool coach is a step closer to the final. And everything starts turning, hmh? Well the tool coach is lucky the two most influential Brazil players are out. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) And their other tool coach started playing European style, taking the wrong players to the tournament, talentless hacks. Many were sidelined, many are left to rot on the bench and big names players took the pitch, who are, again, talentless hacks. Wheels had to come off. It had to happen eventually, luckily I don't watch German games, just following the details.

QUOTE (Zed.D @ Jul 9 2014, 02:53 AM) I have serious problems with this Germany. can't enjoy their perfectness at all. I hear you. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) It is not as much their perfectness than the sheer inability of this Brazilian team. Words will be written on what happened here, I'd rather not waste mine. But when a player like Hernanes who controls the midfield is just a token call up, the less said about the forward lineup the better, everything was (and is) broken and disjointed. It was just the Neymar Factor, and the Silva Marshalling of the defense that got them this far. Because otherwise, the inability had shown in all matches, from Hulk missing stupid chances, Fred and Jo chickening out, Marcelo playing just because he wore a certain shirt. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) Oscar being sacrificed for the inefficiency of the midfield.

QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Jul 8 2014, 09:39 PM) The passing in the box on a few of the German goals was absolutely brilliant. Finding space, quick passes, take the keeper out of the equation. Well, with the amount of space Brazil allowed them it's not so much brilliant but expected imo, the defending on the last 3 goals is Sunday league level at best
