Let's see if we can recover from that lost opportunity against Udine...

Posted by: Fillipo Simone Feb 14 2016, 11:05 AM

Hopefully. Because up next is Juve, yes?

Think so, that's a definite loss so points lost here will be a huge set-back

Same! Although since it's the sole game at this time, they're showing it on a german channel which I can watch wink.gif

Niang is praying for talent & skills...

Posted by: Nova Feb 14 2016, 12:36 PM

Nice effort by Honda :-)

Posted by: han2503 Feb 14 2016, 12:36 PM

BACCAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Posted by: Nova Feb 14 2016, 12:37 PM

Bacca !!!

Posted by: TheOgre Feb 14 2016, 12:38 PM

Nice awareness by Honda, cool finish by Bacca.

Posted by: han2503 Feb 14 2016, 01:02 PM

Niang messing up each pass atm

Agreed. There were some fitness questions with him this week. Doesn't seem 100%

Posted by: William405 Feb 14 2016, 01:10 PM

Antonelli's side looking weak there!

Posted by: han2503 Feb 14 2016, 01:18 PM

Decent first half, but we need to kill this and quick in the second half

Then he shouldn't be playing, it's not like he's Ronaldo rolleyes.gif We can do without him for a game. Balo or Adriano should have started if he's not fully fit

Posted by: Fillipo Simone Feb 14 2016, 01:35 PM

We need more focus. If Genoa score a lucky goal things could become messy.

Dreadful half by Niang. How many wrong passes and decisions? This guy really makes me crazy sometimes. He has potential and talent, but lacks basic stuff as well.

Posted by: han2503 Feb 14 2016, 01:53 PM

HONDAAAAA

What a goal!!!

Posted by: William405 Feb 14 2016, 01:53 PM

What a beast of shot from HONDAAA!!!!

Posted by: TheOgre Feb 14 2016, 01:54 PM

Honda with a dream

Posted by: han2503 Feb 14 2016, 01:58 PM

Menez seems to be preparing to come on. Having him back would be a huge boost for the final run of the season

Posted by: han2503 Feb 14 2016, 02:05 PM

Off the post from Monto! Great shot, he needs to do that more often.

Bacca misses the follow up, but I think he was offside there

Posted by: han2503 Feb 14 2016, 02:06 PM

Menez for Niang

Posted by: han2503 Feb 14 2016, 02:22 PM

WTF was Donna doing there?!!

Letting Cerci of all people score on us!

Posted by: han2503 Feb 14 2016, 02:25 PM

Always parries to the centre...

Posted by: han2503 Feb 14 2016, 02:29 PM

Btw, we have Napoli next week, not Juve.

Inter and Fiorentina play tonight against each other so this could be a good opportunity no matter the result, because next week will surely be one where we lose points (probably all 3)

Posted by: X-Offender Feb 14 2016, 02:32 PM

Only managed to catch the last ten minutes or so. Miha looked like he was about to kill someone at the end. laugh.gif

And rightly so.

Rest of the performance was pretty good aside from that little lapse at the end.

Once again, getting comfortable and sloppy once we have a lead

Posted by: X-Offender Feb 14 2016, 02:48 PM

If only Berto's shot had gone in last week, we'd be only 2 points from 3rd place. Nevertheless...

Ratings:

Donnarumma - 5.5 - had little to nothing to do, yet didn't look well on the goal
Antonelli - 6.5 - solid, but lacked his usual offensive linkup; maybe getting a bit tired
Romagnoli - 7.0 - bar the last situation, pretty good; conceding too many yellow cards IMO
Alex - 8.0 - rock solid, real leader
De Sciglio - 6.5 - busy and engaged
Montolivo - 7.0 - very good match, commanding and concentrated
Bertolacci - 7.0 - had some nice linkups and very good passes
Honda - 8.0 - not just for the brilliant goal, but also his overall effort and precision, probably MoM
Bonaventura - 6.5 - solid, but a tad below his usual good performance
Niang - 5.5 - too many wrong passes, looked distant and not focused at all
Bacca - 7.5 - usual self, killer finish and some good tries afterwards as well
----------------
Menez N/A
Poli N/A
Balotelli N/A

Yes, that damn Udinese game. But man, we're in, we're seriously giving it a try. Now, if we could somehow steal a point or the whole 3 against Napoli, we'd be right in.

Posted by: maldini03 Feb 14 2016, 04:15 PM

You never know with Napoli, they had a slog against Juve this week where their forwards looked really ineffective. Of course Juve were playing 11 behind the ball. They also have to play in the Europa League this week which could leave them tired coming back home to play us. We have to get the tactics right, but we have been doing well against the tougher sides recently.

Why? He made a great save. Was just unlucky on the rebound.

Posted by: Fillipo Simone Feb 14 2016, 06:01 PM

Han said it best. It wasn't that hard of a save, and this is not the first time he parried the ball directly infront of the opposition.

I'd definitely give it a listen wink.gif smile.gif

Yeah I would listen to it

Posted by: X-Offender Feb 16 2016, 09:54 PM

If I'm free, sure I'd listen.

Posted by: X-Offender Feb 21 2016, 10:30 PM

No Napoli thread?

Anyway, Roma, Inter and Fiorentina all won this week. We're kinda forced to win, which is nearly impossible.

Posted by: Fillipo Simone Feb 22 2016, 08:59 PM

Why? Napoli didn't impress me last week, I don't think it's so impossible.
