No way were going to win this.
1-0 for Roma, they're playing better than Inter lately

I wouldn't bet on this, if I were you m1ke. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) We're still in crisis mode.

Hm.

The playing field is just a wee bit more even. Milan are without Nesta, but Roma are without Mexes. He wasn't called up for the giallorossi.

I am being optamistic... hahaha we would be lucky not to concede 2 or more goals.

but who knows, if we play at our potential then we can do it. We have had 2 month of continues football. Maybe this full week of rest might help us make the match at Roma a turning point into better things.

We play good when we need to. Sure Fiorentina is still in the UEFA cup and might start dropping at the very end but that is nothing to depend on. If the players in Milan thinks about that the coming matches will decide wheter Milan is in CL next season or not then I'm sure we can get some good performances.

One other thing to keep in mind - and I'm sure it's in the back of the mind of the Roma players - is that the midweek game next week is Roma-Lazio. There's been some discussion about not playing players who are 1 card away from suspension v. Milan so as to have 'em available for the derby.

I don't think they'll have any problem of any sort against Lazio... they can even beat them even with their reserve players...

That's what people said last fall, when Lazio beat 'em 3-0.

Derbies are funny things; you can never be entirely sure how they're going to end up.

We're certainly due one! This will be the first time in what, two months(?), since we haven't played a game every 3/4 days. Carlo has assured us that we'll see a 'different' Milan on Saturday night - I hope he's right. It's not necessarily the recent results that bother me, it's the lack of performance and we need to improve a lot if we're going to grab that 4th spot.

He promised a different Milan against Arsenal in San Siro too... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Depends on which team's the host. but that result was very strange... kinda one-off.

I dont think roma will switch focus from this game. This game is important for them in order to not let inter get away.
