Germany - France
Brazil - Colombia
Holland - Costa Rica
Argentina - Belgium

Predictions?

I'd go with Germany-Colombia and Holland-Belgium.

Have to agree.

Can't see how Luiz will handle Rodriguez. And Belgium are the first decent team Argentina have faced.

When you consider that Romero was arguably MotM in the Argentina-Iran game, that says it all.

pretty much. But who gets the plaudits Messi for his goal (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Iran played out of there skins tho has to be said so have Most of the counties that have played the so called bigger countries. Love supporting the underdogs in this world cup only Columbia is left!

Because Argentina are weaker than Belgium.

qft.

Belgium have an all-round stronger unit, and they have their own version of Messi in Hazard even if he's not had the same goals and overall impact as Messi.

I think Argentina will make it past Belgium. Argentina have been pretty bad, but Belgium haven't been impressive either.

Belgium do have Hazard, but Argentina have Messi and Di Maria and both of them are capable of making the difference.

I think people expect too much of Messi and CR.

They are both average teams. Yes Argentina have great players up front but the rest of the team is not nearly as good. I mean, Gago is starting for them!

Moreover, I still don't get why people are looking for great teams when it's clear there are none.

I'm assuming tomorrow's matches will still go ahead in light of today's tragedy, minute's silence I'd imagine.

An overpass collapsed killing at least 2 and injuring about 20. Last I heard.
