QUOTE
Santa Cruz began speaking about his current situation at Bayern Munich.

“I am looking for a different club as I won’t continue with Bayern Munich anymore,” he said.

“My contract will expire next year but I am allowed to rescind it."

He insisted, though, that he was not leaving to avoid competition with Luca Toni: "I am not inferior to Toni, and I can assure you that time will tell."

Then Santa Cruz revealed his desire to play in the Serie A: “My manager has said that two English clubs are keen to sign me. However, I would like to play in Italy.

"I really like Totti’s Roma, it’s a club that plays a modern and aggressive style. It would be my ideal team, that’s for sure.

"If not Roma then AC Milan could be an idea. I remember that two years ago, Cesare Maldini mentioned my name to the club’s leadership.

"What a dream it would be to play with AC Milan, especially if you consider that I would team up with Ronaldo up front.

"I’d say, hand me a contract and I would pen it straight away."

QUOTE
"I like Cassano," Galliani told reporters this afternoon. "He was already linked to us in Janauary, but not all were delighted with the possible move.

"Now we will try again. You know he is a forward, and we are looking for a player in that role.

"Therefore, put him on the list."

my 3-yr old cousin is a striker, too. buy him mr. galliani.

on the other note, i would prefer henry over eto'o.

eto's has a slightly better scoring ability than henry, but henry is the player who can replace sheva. i am just refering to our famous formation 3-5 yrs ago, when sheva ran down the right and pippo scoring from the center and at the same time rui costa building a good supply through the middle and left. as we have ronaldo now, we dont need to worry about scoring.

and finally some visual aids:

---Gattuso------Pirlo------Ambro/Seedorf (Emerson, or De Rossi)
-----------------------Kaka------------------
---------Henry-------------------------------
-----------------Ronaldo--------------------
(with both kaka and henry having attacking arrows forward)

this is just bullsh!t. the coach and other players r clearly mentioning that this is only another match, but our captain is just thinking of taking a revenge.

comon people, its only another final.

zee roberto in which position?

LCM (where he played in the last WC), or in the place of ambrosini?

or his natural position, left winger? we dont play with wingers, serginho has already been a sub in the team. do we want to substitute a substitute player?

only becuz we r playing 4-3-2-1 wilth a stand alone striker, i dont think it wud be great to have sheva back. and i am really behind this christmas tree formation, where both kaka and seedorf gets huge space to play and score as well.

maybe having ronaldinho will strengthen our formation and put a restriction in buying any more striker.

on ur face Manyoo, on ur face!

on the second note: salutes to all who played, reserve bench, ancelotti, coaches, trainers and physios, all other technical officials and specially, THE GENNARO RINO GATTUSO. he ran the passion in the team. i just love that chap.

(IMG:http://img.servihoo.com/kinews/AFP/SGE.TPL48.290407132335.photo00.quicklook.default-245x163.jpg)

lol. cant believe gilardino actually scored a UCL goal!

i was worried with kaladze at the start of the game. he is not quick, and has been out of the game throughout this season due to his injury. no special thing, but he did his task wonderfully.

sir alex was way too much confident that manyoo will score in san siro. i didnt see any, did u guyz see anything like that?

on our team, i really think our wingbacks should be crossing with more acuracy.

anyway, someone plz show the losing team the way to the nearest airpost.

RED DEVILS ARE PINK AGAIN.

datasport.it is a stupid, gattuso should rated above 9, he ran the passion and drive inthe whole team. remember how he shouted and cheered after being substituted?

u know what, i still believe dida is world class, its just that he started making some serious errors. thats a bad patch. and dont forget he wasnt fully fit in the last CL semifinal match.

our serious problem is that we dont have any good replacement to provide challenge to dida.

dont expect players fron EPL, bundesliga or spanish league to come to serie-a so easily. i dont really see any big names to be in milan this summer. on the other hand, juve might surprise us. so far i know, torsten frings is willing to be at juve next season.

doesnt he need to shut his mouth off now? he is in milan and he should concentrate on it now. wherez the point in bashing capello now?

i think everytime champions league matches come he gets sad and starts blaming capello why did he play him.

wtf! trying to scratch positive things from the game, and that is, its better to lose 2-3 than to 0-1. i do believe that we have not played even upto 50% of our ability. to me, it was mainly because of the pressure, players were not creating much spaces while passing but its the end result that matters.

having a semi-half goalkeeper is enough to stop ur heart when a shot comes in, but thats life, cuz our second keeper, even being fully fit, is worse than a unfit dida. damn, i miss abbiati. who knew that dida would be so inconsistent in his contract renewing year!

i think we badly need buffon even before ronaldinho. and i am saying this after watching todays match against manyoo! dida looked so much puzzled and out of concentration in the goal. i know he wasnt fit, and he has been doing great for milan over the last few seasons, but i guess its time to introduce new challenge in his position.

QUOTE (mishale @ Apr 12 2007, 03:08 AM)
How great is to see Pippo celebrating a goal  (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif)   although he scored from offside today
*

pippo wasnt offside, he and the bayern defender were level.

now, he could be offside if he was facing towards the goal [considering that the defender was still facing at milan's post], but he wasnt. that saved him i think.
