Actually Genoa is a team to have fear of. They've signed many decent/useful players with the likes of Ferrari, Milito, Olivera, Gasbaroni, Palladino + they have signed our promising youngster Di Gennaro. I would like to see Borriello on the attack since he might know the team better, the players there and sounds easier for him to score than other strikers or our team. I just hope Ancelotti won't use the Christmas Tree formation which absolutely sucks. I want to see 2 strikers upfront. Bonera is now available and he might play as a RB, this means that Zambrotta will move as a left back since Jankulovski doesn't seem yet fit. Flamini should definitely start. He impressed me in pre-season matches + the first official match and will surely become an important/indispensable player for us. In the end, Carlo has the last word of whom will play and I hope he picks the right choice or else.... (IMG: style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) |

So, our CL participation for next year, doesn't depend on us. What could I say ? I heard the news when Cairo said he'll be playing Viola for victory and I really hope his words will come to be reality and prove it on the pitch.
I want Milan to play this game for fans, no matter who the other match result will be. I want them to win for them, to cheer a bit their sad faces, to make them happy at least with something little. They were always beside them, even in dark times (Just what we're in right now), they deserve it. If we would depend on ourself, I would start celebrating from now on, because I know that they would crash them hard. But this is what scares me, we depend on a team which has secured their place in Serie A for the next season, and will play like it was a friendly match. To be honest, we really don't deserve that place, but I don't care about that since I want my team to play in CL, and be the team of fear for others, like we always were. CL would suck without Milan there, not only for us, but for everyone who really loves football and has at least 10% of football knowledge.
Nothing would make this year for me perfect, If I see Roma lifting the Scudetto and Milan in 4'th place.
Anyway, hope dies last.
Forza ! |

If Merda wants to have Balotelli in starting line up, then I'll be up for Pato too, and prove them who has a better whizkid. They still think that he is better than our prodigy. |

It will be the match of the year, I can see that from now on.
Two teams, have a great reason to win this match. Two of them want each other to stop their intentions. Inter has won the last 5 derbies, and there's another reason for us to stop their recent record they have on us. They have also a better all-time record against us. I'm pretty positive that Cagliari will hold Viola, and won't let them get maximum points. It doesn't matter if they get a draw or win, both of them are good for us.
Let's win !!! Forza ! |

1:0 would be enough, as long as we can get maximum points. |

Well... Zapata is great. At his age, it's to hard to find defenders like him. He has the ability to keep the player quiet for 90 minutes. If he says: I'm great, that makes him the Mohammed Ali of Football. (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Seriously, that's self-confidence, which makes himself play with all of his heart and power he posses'. But I still rate the Felipe (Brazilian defender) higher than him, though. |

Love the guy ! If there was any great defender, then there is Billy. If you had the chance to see the Vialli incident, that speaks of what a player Billy was.
I hate it when I see great players getting old, and not being able to watch them play again. |

Simic can play also as a RB and CB. When Kaladze came to Milan, he was a typical Defensive Midfielder, then Ancelotti transfered him to Left Back, and now his favourite positions seems to be CB. So he might take that place, with Nesta and Simic as a CB's and Cafu as a RB. Favalli is in doubt for this match.
Ambrosini and Bonera are suspended which will probably give Gourcuff some playing time. Pippo will start as a lone striker, with Gila and maybe Pato on the bench.
Btw, All time previous matches.

I'm very optimistic for this match. We really have "unmotivated" champions in our squad, that now or never should prove themselfs in such a crucial match, like this one.
I think Kalac time's over. I want Dida between the sticks. I still trust his abilities to make the goal look like a small box for every striker that comes in front of him. I hope Pato will be okay, and start/score which will be a great chance for him to prove himself that he's a player also for big matches, and scoring against Buffon, will surely make you a World-Class striker.
Our defense without Oddo, Nesta and Kaladze will push me to suicide every time Juventus will be on the attack. But anyway, Bonera was really good as a right-back last match, and hopefully will make the same thing on Saturday night.
Let's get a 3 pointer and reach that cursed 4'th place.
Forza Milan !!! |

What we need
a GK a RB a CB a LB 2 Midfielders and 2 strikers.
Goalkeeper
My picks: Frey, Amelia, Kameni. Frey is doing good lately, but he is an injury prone (exactly what we don't need) will make us suffer even more when he's out. Kameni, is a goalkeeper that can make wonder saves, but also concede goals that even my grandpa would held it. He's still young and can become better, but right now we need someone who is able to get some clean sheets most of games. Amelia is the best goalkeeper in Italy right now, after Buffon of course. I've seen Livorno games many times, and I've seen that he won a lot of points to them. I've seen him catching the ball like an apple, after an extremely powerful shot was made. My choice: Amelia
Right-Back
My picks: Zambrotta, Alves, Miguel, Cicinho. Zambrotta, once the best wing-back in the world, now struggling to find his best at Barcelona, is a great chance for us to get him, considering his homesickness + He does not go very well with Spanish play style. We can get him on cheap + has 2-3 more years to give from his legs and teach Oddo how to be great in his position. Alves is also a great possibility for us to get him, after his "every day" comments about wanting to leave Sevilla for a bigger club. We are a big club, we had his hero (Cafu) here, If our management would be ready to splash some cash out there, I don't think he would reject such a wonderful club like Milan. Miguel, the Valencia Right-back, has a great potential of being a player. The unknown-before Benfica player, was the one to steal Paulo Ferreira's place in Portugal's national team. I like his speed, his dribbling skills and his crosses. Surely one of the best Right-backs in the world. Cicinho The Roma wing-back, was a starter for Brazil in Confederation's Cup, when they won the trophy. I was so impressed, when I saw his games, his moves and his ability to pass the player he had in front of him. I think we can get him too. Watching him most of times as a back-up of Panucci or Cassetti.
Everyone is great there, but my choice would be Zambrotta, considering his experience he has in Italian football.
Left-Back My picks: Lahm, Taiwo, Vargas.
Lahm Young + Talent. Always like to see Bayern play, just because of him. He plays like he knows football for ages. Taiwo is another young defender, with a monster shot and with great defensive abilities to stop a player that comes to his position. Impressed in African cup of nations. Vargas the Roberto Carlos of Catania. No need to say more, since everyone that watches Serie A has seen him play.
My choice: Lahm
Midfielders
My picks: Raul Garcia, De Rossi, Cigarini. Raul Garcia, the Atletico Madrid center midfielder can become a great in years. Would not be a bad choice, since he can replace Pirlo anytime. De Rossi will sure become Roma symbol, when Totti will retire. I know it's almost impossible to get him, but would really add depth in our squad with his gentle playing style. Cigarini is surely Pirlo's heir. I could see him giving 101% against us, just to make our management's mind to give it a try for him.
My choices: Cigarini and Raul Garcia since we can't get De Rossi.
Strikers My picks: Benzema, Aguero, Drogba, Shevchenko.
My choice: Shevchenko and Aguero. |

Seedorf's absence may be a big blow for us tomorrow. But, we are a strong team with great experience in football and especially in CL. Experience is the most important thing in tough matches like this one were in. Arsenal are strong, but not capable of winning against us. I'm sure they know that, entering San Siro, is worse than entering in Devil's hell.
Kaka and Pirlo are available and ready to humiliate young kids, and teach them a very sweet and nice lesson.
Forza Milan |
