Very strange feeling. I've never imagined him taking over such a "guerrilla" club/team.

He could win them their first scudetto since the 80s, or CL perhaps. He has a three year contract. He will revolutionize that club.

I reflect on Madrid, when he took the helm, Zidane was his understudy at the same time. He layed the foundations and Madrid are the alpha team of this decade.

I also reflect on Milan and his revolution taking the team to get addicted to CL. It was DNA, nothing more personal.

Carlo will do well at Napoli. He has already studied them throughout his time on vacation. Time will tell.

QUOTE (Jack Sparrow @ May 24 2018, 07:43 AM) *
Me neither. But truth be told, over the past year he's been pushed into the tier 2 of coaches. People are wondering if he really is the guaranteed winner that almost all big clubs want. So this is a great chance for him to re-invent himself and establish something.

From Napoli's perspective, a deep run into the CL plus a coach who can attract top talent will be interesting for sure. I doubt they brought in Carlo to challenge for the league.

As things stand, one of Sarri or Conte will be available next year. I like it, in case the Gattusso project for the new season goes South.

There's no guarantee that either Conte or Sarri will be available. As much as I'm behind Rino and admire the work he's done. I think the renewal was rushed, and simply a gut reaction to affirm that they did something right finally. If things go south next season, we don't have any guarantees that Conte or Sarri would be available or even willing to come on board. I'm afraid we shot ourselves in the foot once again here

Sarri will sign for Zenit.

Really? What a waste!

I think Zenit appointed Semak. So no.

With Zidane resigning, the coaching marry-go-round just got very interesting. Conte will be available, but I can't see him at Real. Pocchetino is also being linked with them
