The refs are terrible, that's all there is to it. The VAR has become a tool to look at the tiniest of irregularities, and instead of looking at the contextual facts, they simply apply the rulebook like a bunch of fucking sheep.
Not only Handanovic would have never saved that, but the shot was not in his trajectory of sight. The fact he didn't even protest when the GK's are the first to protest in these circumnstances goes to show you he wasn't influenced by Kalulu's position at all.
I don't care about this tie and about the cup, but I'm sick and tired of this bullshit refereeing system that is destroying football.
The refereeing is bad in general, but when so much has gone against us and practically not a single error has gone against Inter it's simply not as easily explained away by saying the refs are bad.
The amount of BS calls that have gone Inter's way while the amount that have gone against us would have made us champions by now. Simple as that really.
We have 7 points which were literally stolen off of us. Refereeing decisions were the simple difference in those points being not on the board. If those points were banked we'd be 99% on our way to a title. While Inter have about 4/5 points which were literally gifted to them though refereeing errors. This is not acceptable.

Hakan with his 9th Serie A assist against Roma just now. What a great decision we made?
Meanwhile Brahim is getting warm and will try grab his 4th assist this season. That is if Kessie doesn?t dissapoint as AM for the nth time this season.
Hakan can f@ck right off!! I do not care what he is doing now. Look at when Inter were struggling. What was Hakan doing? Helping to sink the ship further. Brozovic is the true star of that team and without him Inter would not even be in contention for the title, that's how important he is. Look what happened when he was injured. 1 win out of 7!! That is relegation levels. Was Hakan doing anything to pull that team along? No.
I said all summer that we should renew him btw. Not because I think he was so great but letting him go created a huge problem for us. And we all knew we would never replace him properly. The big error was always not replacing him, not letting him go. He was alwas a mid-level player. And you used to say this yourself.

I have a bad feeling about today.
Anyway, this should be Pioli's last chance. His stubbornness and reluctance to try out something new or different is staggering. I really understand that he is operating under limited options and circumstances. But for crying out loud - would it be that impossible to try out Rebić on the right and leave Leao on the left? Or heck, Leao as CF (btw Leao is really unflexible, another downside with him).
And please no Kessie as AM. Well... it will happen anyway, so I should stop complaining...
What is it with you ad Pioli? The only thing that p!sses me off with him is the right sided player. Because he can easily use Rebic or even try Diaz there but he has kept persisting with Messias and Alexis when they are barely football players at this point. That being said, I can't even blame him about Rebic because he has spent as much time out injured as Zlatan at this point and he doesn't have the excuse of being 40 years old.
Pioli is doing what he can with what he has. The fact is we are punching way above our weight with the squad we have. The medical/fitness issues were not addressed last summer, leaving the squad threadbare for a good chunk of the season, the attack is mid-table quality and when the management had the chance in January to back Pioli they chose not to do anything. That's the truth. The management are happy with top 4. We are even ahead of schedule in that regard that we're now considered top 4 regulars. And that's down to Pioli's work. The title right now is unfortunately not the goal for this management.
I really do hope that once this sale of the club goes through the management will be given a proper budget to make this a truely competitive squad. I want Pioli to have that chance to have a season with a better quality squad. Then we can judge. If he can't come through then, then yes, we should look to replace him. But until then, we cannot blame him for not winning a title we never should have been in contention to win in the first place We are where we are due to Pioli first and foremost. Let us not forget that
