Today's training has taken place. There was applause for Cafu & Sergio.
There was a warmup and practice game (without keepers, who trained with the goalkeeping staff) in which there was a stress on crosses into the penalty area.
Il Capitano has started to run again. YAY!

Lol @ zd. (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Honestly, I don't know what to feel for this match - I'm totally numb. At one hand we've almost fluked our chances for the fourth place. At the other, we can't even have a decent farewell for Dida, Cafu and Sergio. Maybe even Gattuso? (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Had we used our head for a match or two more, we could have secured fourth (it pains me so much to say this again and again, fourth for us, and we aren't even sure). The Juve loss, maybe? How we've fallen from grace. So much hinges on this one match, and either way this one ends, it will end an era with it. It's gonna hurt bad, no doubt about it. As Porty would say: What a F joke we've become. (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sleepysmiley03.gif)

Milan slash ticket pricesAC Milan have cut all ticket prices by 50 per cent for Monday's (AEST) must-win game against Udinese. The Rossoneri need a victory this weekend and must also hope Fiorentina fail to win at Torino in order to claim the last Champions League qualifying spot. They have halved ticket prices as they want a full house at the San Siro for the final day of the campaign. Milan dropped to fifth in the Serie A standings after a surprise 3-1 loss at Napoli at the weekend. The result allowed Fiorentina to leapfrog Milan into fourth place and take a two-point advantage into the final game of the campaign. Should both teams finish level on points, Carlo Ancelotti's side would finish in the top four as they have a better head-to-head record against Fiorentina. theworldgame.com.au

QUOTE (zdrossoneri @ May 16 2008, 03:10 PM) Er. Thanks? (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/96.gif) (I do still hope to wrest dibs on Nesta away from that vixen dst!) And yep, ticket prices are halved for the game -- they were for last year's game too. They're also doing special stuff for the kids (the first green ring is set aside for children + families) before the game too. It should be a fantastic atmosphere -- I look forward to hearing reports from those several milanfan members who are attending!

Carletto's held his prematch press conference. Highlights:
*Janku and Gourcuff are hurt. *Dida will be on the bench. *Carletto seems to indicate that both Cafu & Sergio will play some part of the game.
There's a lot of other talk about how the season has been one of lack of continuity, that if Fiorentina take 4th, he'll congratulate them and look to reinforce the team, that he's not paying attention to the current merda scandal, etc.

Today's training has taken place. After warmups (in which Il Capitano also participated), the team broke up and worked in small groups on various drills - sprints, obstacle work, etc. There were also defensive and offensive drills. Il Capitano worked in the sand pit after warmup. Dida trained regularly. Janku, Gourcuff, Gattuso, and Emerson worked in the gym. Here are the call ups: Dida, Kalac Bonera, Cafu, Digao, Favalli, Kaladze, Oddo, Serginho, Simic Ambrosini, Brocchi, Kakà , Pirlo, Seedorf Gilardino, Inzaghi, Pato. This week, Kaka is a midfielder again. (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
