QUOTE
Andriy Shevchenko will only return to AC Milan if Chelsea agree to loan the Ukraine striker free of charge, according to the player's agent.

Shevchenko has struggled to make an impact for the Blues since his £30million transfer to Stamford Bridge from the Rossoneri in May 2006.

Yet despite having been a big hit in Serie A, Shevchenko's agent Fabio Parisi does not expect Milan to part with any money for the forward.

He said: "(AC Milan vice-president Adriano) Galliani has always been very clear when stating that the deal can only be done if Chelsea allow Milan to have the player as a free loan.

"If Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich will give his okay then I think the deal could be done."

Milan are looking to reinforce their attacking line this summer and would welcome the 31-year-old back with open arms, although their main target remains Barcelona's Ronaldinho.

Well, I'm kind of speechless with this news. When did Milan become a cheapskate club? Free loan, huh.

Perhaps it is a way of putting off the whole thing without directly saying no. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

i think chelsea will accept that they have lost 30 million already now they will want to save their wages and if sheva says he wants milan then i think it is very much possible that he comes on loan which will be the best deal for milan also

Could very well be. But like they say, there are other ways to skin the cat. Fester sure does his best to distort Milan's image, to an extent that he makes it looks like we're AC El Cheapo, or something. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Free loan. Chelsea aren't bound to us: they can loan Sheva to any other club they want - this way they'll not only save millions on the wages, but maybe get a couple from the other club too.

But I guess that's our Vice President's philosophy: "If you can't impress them with intelligence, baffle them with BS". (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

That also crossed my mind. If so, it's a good approach. We should contact Dynamo K. to jump in and rescue. In fact, we can offer Kaladze's services for free as an extra..

its a way of saying that were doing chelsea a favor by taking him. In reality we dont need him at all. Him coming back to milan is his desire and its what chelsea want aswell. Why should we have to pay for something we really dont need. I would take the money and add more to it and invest in gomez rather than this soon to be 32 year old chelsea shite/milan legend.

same old Galliani.

without trying to comment on what he said, I'd just like to remind you his same coment about Ronaldo:

"Milan will only buy Ronaldo with our set terms, and that is signing him on free-transfer" ... we ended up paying +8M euros for him.

Madrid probably offered to give him to us for free, but Galliani's awesome negotiating powers made it end up at E8m.

Yeah, that could be ... But then again, we have no clue of what's actually going on (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/innocent.gif)
